Sure, because a level 50 against a level 61 mob will go so well when there are no level 70 players who are willing or have time to help me.

Sure, i guess i'll just try it then since you insist on it...BLAM dead instantly.

So now i'm face down in the water in Ala Ghanna because i listened to what another player told me to do.

I don't think i like that guy very much.

It should be pointed out that the last several times i refused to obey obviously bad instructions i got chewed out over it, because not doing the clearly terrible idea other people want me to do makes me a horrible player...

I ran LotA in raid roulette and our alliance's tank wanted to be Leeroy Jenkins and charged right in and grabbed aggro on everything. He almost got smeared across the floor, but i managed to get benediction off just in time.

He said something along the lines of "My butt just clenched so hard, thanks WHM".
To which I said "Maybe lube up a little next time before you go balls deep like that".

After that he flirted with me for the rest of the run. It got a bit awkward later in the run, but it was still a pretty good run.

I don't often do stupid things, and when I do, people wonder if I had suffered from some acute neurological issue, or if I was suddenly pissing drunk (which I never have been since it's rare for me to drink more than a glass of anything).

WELL TODAY WAS A DAY I WAS PANTS-ON-HEAD STUPID!

I'm a week late with the 24-man, and ran it today. Learned the mechanics, some of them the hard way, also getting accustomed to muscle memory after a holiday break. What stupid thing did I do? Last two bosses, I died, and released early, because I thought it was a wipe, once on both bosses. It wasn't so bad the first time, since there was a wipe, but the second time there wasn't, so I stood outside of the gate and was internally screaming at myself, and wanted to throw myself out of the window. The only consolation was that I had a companion outside of the gate. I was still feeling like a dunce there, regardless.

Apologies for anyone that had to deal with those shenanigans. TwT

I am going to cry. I don't know how many runs I've done of Alphascape 1 and 2 for one single bolt. I couldn't get it before the weekly cap was lifted and now I have even less luck. I've done it so many times, more than I can count and I always end rolling 20 or less. Why why why. Not to mention that nearly every single time I do Alphascape 2.0 the party wipes like 3 times because people always line up those line blast aoe markers.

Tell me about it, it's been a horror. I still need to get accessories for bard, and gear for my red mage. It's a literal nightmare. Nobody knows how to do it, and there seems to be way more new people doing it than their used to be.

Honestly, I expect some derping. I've derped in Susano NM before because I just forgot how the fight went. But it's like. When your party fails to kill the first wave of three adds after the Sanuwa twice... I just have no words. That's not a "we derped on mechanics" that's literally a "we derped on pressing attack buttons".

I'd honestly never seen the Duty Failed cutscene for Bismarck before.

At least your last run didn't have one of the tanks swept off the platform at the first batch of Vanu..... on THREE ATTEMPTS.

It was the same tank every time - and boy did he get pissy when his co-tank finally got fed up with it and called him out on it. Then the guy decided to just do us a "Favor" by jumping off on purpose then logging off.

First time I've ever had to call for an abandon on anything. What a sad display....
