Had an embarrassing run, was doing 011 for the vain hope for a card or music and I decided to MT

I subsequently perish when I got distracted by something in my room and embarrassed myself in front of several FC mates.

After that though and the initial shame, I MT'D without issue.

The fights length really depends on how much of the rest of the team handles lardboard/starboard (after an untold number of runs of the place I don't find it a hindrance any more)

Also when I OT I notice many MTs pull to the level wall which I don't agree with because so so many people that do get hit with a fist in the initial peripheral spawn. I prefer to MT a little off center as it allows enough room for those and allows movement for dropping flaming ooze. (Why do so many melee dps drop it on the boss?)

To add I think why most people get the movement wrong is because after the initial attack it doesn't immediately register that Omega is now facing them so that lardboard is now starboard and vice versa.

I don't have a vendetta about fflogs itself, but against morons who looks only at personnal dps and nothing else, not getting the whole picture. For example two days ago it made one of the group i enter in fall apart once it was full. Leader kicked a sam because of not enough dps on fflogs, the sam's friend seeing that leaved after arguing a bit, then another player leaved as well, etc, and back to find another group after wasting your time for fflogs reasons. Want to know the most funny part ? The sam dps wasn't even that worse, we could have done it with everyone else doing average.

As for o12n you can sure live through the laser soft enrage with good healers, but sometimes you can feel when the healing is lacking since the beginning of the run for doing so XD

That being said, to the person who did kick me right away 2 seconds after i did join your pf group : at least explain why you do so, it is very rude and only make people thinking there is so much toxic players out there. And also, welcome to my blacklist.

And to the another person who did quit the next group during the countdown at the beginning of the first run attempt : next time do it BEFORE i launch my food buff, and not after.

Seriously, a bit more of all the crap i see these days and i could write a while book on why Eureka is a way more enjoyable content than savage pf.

If you look for toxicity you'll find it.

Like your example of being kicked right as you joined a PF party. You assume it's got something to do with them looking you up on fflogs or being toxic, maybe they just found out a friend to come along and as the most recent joinee you got booted. Maybe the entire party was disbanded because someone had something to do irl. There are a plethora of non-toxic, perfectly reasonable explanations for that happening and you still blacklisted that person.

Heck, maybe they recognised your name from the OF and didn't want to play with you given some of the things you've said on here.

Maybe there was a legit reason but they could have explained said reason before kicking. Whether it was 'low dps' on ff logs or bringing in a friend or whatever.

I've joined many cross world parties that get disbanded with no explanation, usually for WT. It says that the cross world party was disbanded. There's a different message when you are kicked from a party.

An explanation is a nice to have, but point of order: the PF leader doesn't owe you an explanation if they decide to disband or even remove you. The easiest thing to do is keep your cool, shrug and move on. There will be other party finders.

Then i try another party and clear for the week without any serious trouble on my end, though the Bard was a walking accident and had to replaced after wiping us for the fourth time.

So much for FFlogs based discrimination not being a thing, green logs as a paladin is apparantly cause for being booted and blacklisted among some groups.

And where there's one rotten apple there is usually more, though fortunately i haven't had all that many incidents like this in the one and three quarters of a year i have played so far, so they don't seem to be THAT common, even if they do happen more often than i would like.

Judging from what others have said i seem to run into the worst sort of people more often than most, since there are so many saying they have never known such a thing to happen.

I mean, a pretty common Play of the Game I see in that fight is a PLD running away from a half dead party with the mark and popping Hallowed Ground, but I get the feeling that's not what you mean

I agree with your example there friend. Another one would be where only 1 healer remains and there's like one tank and one DPS left. You want to spare the healer if he's not targeted.

But in my case everyone was alive and I was the one targeted so...no excuses
