I just leave if I’m in a group with no sprouts and we wipe to the first boss in Qarn. Literally not worth it to me.Around a week ago, I was healing on my WHM alt in Qarn and it took an hour. We wiped to the first boss three times and trash a bunch more times, including to the same pack twice because someone put in the wrong stone when trying to get to one of the chest rooms. I tried to do a vote abandon after the third wipe to the first boss because I knew it would be especially dreadful after that, but it didn't end up going through.
In my experience, you have at least a 50/50 chance of Qarn being a crapshoot, especially the first boss. For some reason that Doom mechanic always throws people off.
Had a Shinryu group with three dragoons. One of them seemed to be trying their hardest to live up to the stereotype. Died three times before the add phase and once during it.
Then during one of his divebombs, he took out all three dragoons at once. We all agreed, nice shot.
See, now I want a Shinryu-based bowling mini-game where the pins are all Dragoons and Black Mages. Please get on it, SE.Had a Shinryu group with three dragoons. One of them seemed to be trying their hardest to live up to the stereotype. Died three times before the add phase and once during it.

Today I did Trial Roulette to try and work on capping Creation before 4.4. Since I have Duty in Progress, I wound up getting a Trial that had been ongoing for 23 minutes.
As soon as I come in, people are fighting in chat about "Maybe you need to get good.", so I figured it was Tsukuyomi. (It was.)
So, I steel myself to get ready for a potential rough run and come in to see both Healers and a DPS have left. Shortly after, the party vote abandoned and I wound up getting A Relic Reborn: Chimera in my next go around.
I guess I'll have to wait a little longer for Creation.
I also had an Alliance Raid in World of Darkness that was fairly unremarkable until someone failed to chain Cerberus and he went around murdering everyone with his 16 attack buffs.
I have to admit, I get a kick out of Dragoons dying on boss fights that involve dragons.Had a Shinryu group with three dragoons. One of them seemed to be trying their hardest to live up to the stereotype. Died three times before the add phase and once during it.

STORY #9
Me = White lines. Healer = Purple lines.
Later on in the dungeon, the healer said he was new, after two of us died. And I will say the same thing I told him. It's ok if you're new. But you can't be lazy in this game. I wished him well and encouraged him to keep practicing.
But overall, he was using Cure when then Tank took one hit of like 20damage. OVER and OVER. Zero DPS was done by the Healer. Hence why I said something.
I really wonder how pure Healers manage to clear their solo duties sometimes.
Shoutout to the BLM that Mana Shifted me constantly during a Ravana NM run (I was on WHM, for the record). I think there were a few newbies, or so I'd hope because the MT kept cleaving the party and dragging Ravana around the map with him. There was a point where the MT died but the OT couldn't pick up aggro, so I stood there tanking for a minute or two and keeping myself up. ;u;
But Mister BLM kept my mana alive and thriving. Thank you, Mister BLM, whoever you were. <3

I got a Black Mage in ARF once. I was healing, one person I came with was DPSing and Tank was pug. All was fine, but things were dying so slowly it was like the Black Mage was doing nothing. His gear was fine except for one tiny detail... he had an ilvl 100 relic. Me and person I queued with asked why he had it on and he told us it was because he was light farming. We asked him if he’d switch weapons, he refused because he needed the dungeon for light. “It isn’t hat big a deal, it’s ARF.”
I get that it’s a dungeon, but please don’t ever do this.
