Oh Jeez, sounds horrible. I will say this about NIN though. I went about a month without playing it and when I played it again... dear lord. I did not remember any combos. I was throwing out all sorts of wrong things. Tried doing Huton. Got Doton on a very mobile boss (doh). Let's do suiton! Crap, I got Huton! I already have Huton on! It's hard to remember on the go when you've been away from it for a bit :P Not to excuse the NIN in your group entirely. He REALLY shoulda been goad'ing and using shade walker and smokescreen. I fear at the thought that maybe they didn't even pick them up *shudder*.

And ironically, I tanked PharosHM yesterday with my FC mates. Murphy's law got me. 1st boss, my controller got warning it was dying (ps4 user here). I hit my marco combo and try to switch it real quick. As I'm switching, I see the 1st corruption is on me T-T. I try to get to a bird or spider in time. It didn't happen. My FC leader was like, "For SHAME!!" to me. Rest went ok (not great, but things were fine) until final boss. Ugh. So I usually deal with both the purple bombs when they come out on the last boss (forgot names). I hit one back, then hit the other back and toward the other one. Keep going till the both are next to each other making it easy to contain. Did this just fine. Then lag. I used CoS to hit both back at the same time. But since my game decided lag. Both went flying toward the grey bombs. Like, smack on top of them. Bombs blow. UGH. Honestly, I didn't realize it was lag at this point. I was just like, "WTF! I swear I hit them in time to be knocked the other way!". FC mates shrug it off and we go to do again. Then I notice it. The lag. Oh god. The lag. Next pull, I saw I did CoS. But my CoS was still up and able to be used. Huh. CoS again. Uh, still available. Oh no. Things freeze up. I try spamming out my combos anyways. A minute goes by with nothing moving. I'm waiting for the game to boot me. Nope. Next thing I know, I see a billion things happening at the speed of light. Ending with a huge explosion and me on the floor. I apologize and tell them sorry for the lag. Ironically, one of my FC mates right after said, "Sorry, I'm not doing great tonight"
"Oh, I mean, yea, I'm lagging too".

xD About 5 minutes go by and I still haven't spawned because of my lag. Eventually the game settled for me and we got through it though. It was a mess, but we all did the thanavian dance in front of the last boss in skimpy gear for a few minutes.

went into party finder with a friend (to help people too scared to try a1s)
we got whm (yeah could be hard) but what was very cute was what they did, they were too scared to die
so they came with full vit accessories and vit food they had more HP than us tanks, can't help but smile, beginners are adorable

Joined a Pharos HM in progress as my WHM. Found a SMN and a BLM waiting at the gate to the 2nd boss. We waited a few minutes for a new tank to show up, before the BLM says "Lets try it with Titan tanking".
I'm up for trying things out, and while it took a bit longer than normal, Titan was able to tank the 2nd boss no problem.

Still no tank in sight, so we decided to try our luck with the remainder of the dungeon. We completed the remaining mobs with a combination of Titan tanking and us kiting mobs, without any deaths.
The final boss was also handled without any issues. (found out that the stacking Fire Vuln debuff maxes out at 5 stacks).

Shout out to the SMN and BLM, and big shout out to the Chicken Nugget. I will not call you useless again.

First time running a dungeon as the tank, dps keeps pulling, I tell them I need to recharge my tp and to wait.

They say they don't care and it's not their job to care since they're dps and their job is easy.

Needless to say I left when they pulled a boss.

A4, me SCH, we wiped a couple of times before tank became insulting towards both healers because we couldnt heal HER. So after a couple of insults and me being who I am I had to tell her a few truth and to a couple of dps too.

Me and the other healer had to eat ALL the bubbles that were heading our ways or collect them on their way and of course heal ourselves thus meaning less Healing for them even with Eos on obey was impossible, none of the dps did bother. DPS had two / three rays none bothered to remove and they died by *overcharge* despite us trying to keep them alive. With full force EOS I couldnt keep the MT alive, meanwhile keeping myself up due to healer debuff and ordering Eos to go and heal the tank, because well she was taking wayyyyyy too much damages. DPS came close to us healers when having debuff on and died. All of this of course the fault of both healers.

After all this and a few wipes, the only answer of the tank was *deal with it in A4S is worse*..frankly who cares of A4S, if I wanted that I would have gone there. I told the tank that surely it would be easier to keep them alive if instead of thinking to A4S, they would just think of A4 and do what is supposed to be done, so that healers can get to heal and not play DPS while having to heal themselves vs Healing the party.

We, both healers, got kicked for not bowing to her majesty and vassals, cant say I am sad about that.

This. People thinks that just because they "survived" savage, they can farm normal ignoring all mechanics just because is easier.

The problem is that most people that already cleared hardcore/raids in game got so accustomed to the group they are playing with that they forget that they need to play in a different style or plan/coordinate before pulling. Those people tend to play horrible with random people cuz they don't know how to interact with others.

I was in a party where I got a SMN playing as melee DPS -standing beside or behind the tank-, the other dpsdps, blm, was a bit far yet close enough to get the aoe dmg ( all this was in the vault dungeon) and the tank would DPS one mob at a time and let the SMN steal the aggro and the SMN would stop doing her dots to kill the one or ones on her. There were times the tank would eat aoes, too. I remember when I said brb and the tank "didn't read" the party chat ./swt and went ahead and pull the mobs.

Save the Vengeance and the Equilibrium pop for the second set.

Funny that you mention this, usually it's that random bard who takes unnecessary damage when I'm soaking up orbs xD Everytime I just shake my head
