Hmm odd. Sounds like someone was trolling if a mage pulled and the boss was jumping around the room, though. No good to troll on the pull if you don't want everyone to get stacks of bile

I don't even know who pulled, honestly. Our ACN was pretty drunk so it wouldn't surprise me if he did it. xD

Still, that didn't wipe the raid. People ignoring adds/orbs and other stuff did, lol.

depends in what situation that bard used it, wide wolley is a large circle aoe, it's better than quick nock in some situations.

Take it from me, many BRDs are still using (usually spamming) Wide Volley in situations where Quick Nock will do just fine. Wide Volley also doesn't hit as wide of an area as the name suggests, either (Rain of Death has greater radius, for instance)

A lot of people underestimate Quick Nock's area of effect, at least after getting the trait that increases it.

Doing Sohm Al just now I ran into a SMN who would not use Ruin, Bio, Bio II or Miasma. The only spells he ever cast were Shadowflare, Painflare, and occasionally Ruin II or Ruin III. When asked if there was any particular reason he wasn't casting these spells he listed the spells he was casting and said the others were "level locked". He meant Tri-disaster was locked due to level sync. Even after being told he could still cast his DoTs normally and being requested to multiple times, he refused to. I don't even understand..

Lvl 60 main SMN here and whether actions are synced or not, I always make sure to nuke mobs with everything i have XD

This, I guess Venomous Bite is great but since Iron Jaws exists you shouldn't need to use it more than once per encounter (depending on boss mechanics), let alone spam it.

While I've gotten my fair share of ASTs that overwrite my buffs, now I had AST that wouldn't even draw cards in 50 roulette.

Go figure.

I was in Alliance A. The funny part was that we wiped to people ignoring mechanics rather than to our lack of soul crystals, and yet people were blaming everything on our alliance. We ended up clearing after y'all left.

Tsk tsk purposefully gimping yourself at others expense. . Roood. Joking that sounds like a hell of an awesome time. XD. I tried to get together a party of 5 DRGs for VA once so everyone could enjoy the superb mass pole dancing but unfortunately only one person was game.

When I enter I see A group, everyone without Soul Crystals. All I'm like wtf at this point and see the alliance is pretty much wiping to trash after 1st boss (knots not being killed etc, you know the drill). I decide to stay anyway, I am desperate for my drops... We manage to kill trash and go to 2nd boss. A groups BLM- wait excuse me... THM, decides to pull. We somehow manage, with MANY deaths.

i've done this with my fc. but we were good enough to finish. sounds like they were just bad, even a marauder should be able to hold hate against anything other than another tank in there. it's not like the dps actually try. and dps jobs are only 3-400 dps ahead of classes.

edit: ah i see they did clear. good show then. doing the same thing every week is boring, you gotta spice it up every now and again.

Ifrit hm today, enter in protect and stoneskin are used I look over to my co tank pld no stance selected ait.

Defiance up and prepare my opener as I pull, pld immediately switchs on shield oath.

Did an aery run with a friend, asked him to parse my war pleased to say managed to out dps our second dps by a long way each boss fight, also a shout out to the ast we had, I felt I could of stayed deliverance the entire run.

Always a pleasure to see a healer who can effortlessly dps and heal.

Spicing things up is fully okay, but then please do this on party finder, not duty finder >.<

An FC mate asked for a tank for an in-progress Qarn NM, I joined on dark knight. There was this astrologian throwing balances to me, stance dancing, dpsing, everything was smooth, we cleared the dungeon from the second boss on without problems.
Later, I did my leveling roulette on dark knight and ended up in Qarn again - with the very same healer We had a good laugh, but like always he's on another server :'(
