Is it good time we got to the last boss or not?

I will tell you that it's the only silver lining of that part. Imagine getting there but your tank jumps ship and so does your healer.

I haven't had anybody complain but if they did I would just ignore it. I mana shift to the healer frequently and always after I have to rez one. I look at it that I usually have plenty so why not give some away so they don't have to worry as much about managing MP.

Ran Kefka normal last night for the shaft piece I needed. I'm on as BLM and DPS is a RDM and I think a BRD (can't rightly remember). Both healers are astrologians. We're doing well until I misclicked on my sprint and didn't get to the tower in time and got one-shotted. Meep. Then one of the ASTs went down. The remaining AST had zero mana left. RDM (mentor too, I might add) had lots. AST with no mana asks in party chat "RDM please rez healer, I have no mana" to no response from the RDM. RDM just keeps on keeping on. AST asks again "please rez healer!" no response again. :-/ The healer finally gets their co-heal up, I still haven't been raised by the RDM (no biggie, I like the floor - it's comfy) and as soon as they're good, the AST raises me. That's when I realize that I forgot to slot mana shift onto my hotbar. I'd removed it for something else that I didn't need now *facepalm* The rest of the run went without incident though. Just before they left, I managed to say to the healer who asked for mana that I was so sorry - I didn't have mana shift this run. They said it was ok, they gave me their comm (I comm'd them) and the other healer said the same.

I went in with one FC friend, the rest were randoms (or so I thought) and I walked out with 4 comms. All of them except for the RDM were from the same server so I'm assuming all friends.

Queued for o7n last week with a tank friend, actually forgot I was on RDM. I would usually heal that fight if no one else I knew was healing since the damage seems to overwhelm some pug healers. Got double ASTs and a PLD OT to my friend's WAR MT. Other dps kinda irrelavent, no other casters.


Stuff hits the fan pretty quickly, my tank friend Holmgangs one of the first Arm & Hammers because he isn't getting heals. He doesn't get heals and tells me when he's leaving Holmgang but I'm on an add and I can't Vercure him in time. He dies, boss comes to me, I die then it tears through the ASTs. Wipe.

There is silence as we wait for the next pull. I want to say something to the healers but don't know what, countdown starts (by PLD OT) but my tank friend says he'll take it.

He still isn't getting heals. This time he realizes there is no incoming healing and after Inner Release swaps back to Defiance. Oh, look, heals. Right as he does it one healer types in chat "sorry, we dont heal tanks that arent tanking " like... I'm sorry, what?! Not lile either of them was putting out dps really either, a couple hundred, mostly just Combust. They just didn't want him in Deliverance.

The best part after this is when people start dying to AoEs. The healers aren't raising so after I finish my melee combo I start, I raise one healer and mana shift her (reflex mostly) then when she doesn't start raising I raise two DPS. Lucid is still close to 60 seconds away. I am capped on raises at this point, sitting under 2k mp.

Both healers die to missles.

Immediately I am bombarded in chat by them about raising them. I do what I can with Vercure, figuring if I can keep myself and tanks alive until Lucid is up I can get one of the healers up for an LB3. Nope, NIN burns LB3. Okay, still, with an alive healer we could live.

Chat is now exploding with people yelling at me to raise. I hop on Dadaluma as he comes out, Lucid in 20s. PLD does not pick up Dadaluma. As I go down to tanking the add he should have been tanking the PLD posts this multi-line rant about how he hates selfish RDMs who don't use their raise ability.

I accepted the vote abandon that popped. I'm sorry PLD (and for that matter stupid, incompetent healers) if you want to conplain maybe take the 2s to look at my mp bar that was in triple digits there for a while.

PLD, both ASTs and 1 dps all from Jenova. Apparently everyone there is fated to hate me.

I guess you can't DPS unless one of the many healers you know are with you!

Sidenote: Why the eff would the NIN use the LB? o_O

It's getting to the point I literally won't dps without a friend on healer, yeah. In my opinion outside EX/Savage healers are the ones to make or break a fight and trusting that to randoms is just scary.

I assume he thought we were wiping anyways so why not? Or maybe he thought we were burning the boss? Sad part is the boss still had quite a bit of HP. According to my WAR friend I was first in DPS with a gap of 1k between me and the NIN. Combine all that with both healers doing less dps than I usually do on WHM put together and you have a slooooooow party.

Well I have 3 separate stories to tell I have been on a leveling (WHM/AST to 70) and anima binge lately so that means I have been doing tons of dungeons. Without further ado.

I go into Aetherochemical Research Facility on my WHM the BLM in the group seems off first with outdated gear the worst being the weapon and the best part hasn’t done his/her lv 58-60 quests. So they don’t have Blizz4/Fire4 and with a broken rotation needlessly to say things were dying very slowly good thing I was on my WHM to cast Aero3 and Holy otherwise I think I would have left. Me and the tank gave him tips and that was that.

The other story happens not once or twice but 3 freaking times in a row in Bardam’s Mettle 3 tanks in a row not using cool downs I just about lost my marbles after those 3 runs. I queued into another Bardam’s Mettle in-progress this time, so I can just tell this is going to be crappy. but lo and behold it’s the same tank from one of my previous runs that doesn’t use cool downs and this one I told specifically to use cool downs and got no response. I told the party “Oh hell no” “*name* you need to go back and learn tanking” and just left because f that.

This other story happens in Doma Castle the tank has a Padjali Axe ilv235 in Doma seriously? You know I am not one to inspect gear or say anything but I just about had it with these people I tell him what are you doing in this place with that axe. To which he responds *That it’s not that low* I just about lost it with that response. I told him that’s lower than Shire gear way way lower. I made the /cry emote then left the group. If you can’t be bothered to grab a vendor weapon which is 10 times better than that then I can’t be bothered to heal your ass.

Honestly I told myself that if it keeps being bad I will just level using roulettes.

This is exactly why I prefer to run RDM in Delta and now Sigmascapes (and Rabanastre). So that when shot hits the fan I can help with the healing and the rezzing until things are under control again. Cause all the dps in the world isn't gonna do you any good if your party is wiping.

I got angry just from reading this! What a waste of party space those healers are, rude people with no understanding of how the game works and horrible attitudes.
