Running A3 on paladin. During whirl phase, people don't kill adds and someone takes the tether away from the other tank. We eventually wipe and one of the dps calls out on us tanks for not doing our job.

I was doing relic quest on AK Hard for my AST relic
tank has 600HP more than I do as a healer, Lvl50, 1 of the right hand side pieces was STR
everything else was INT and MND ><
Laurima: Tank? why have you got mages accessories on?
Tank: I'm leveling up and those are the only higher level accessories I have
Laurima: where are you bits you were using at Lvl49?
Tank: Silence -_-
BRD and BLM peeled hate like there was no tomorrow, How we didn't wipe once, I'm still not sure but yikes -_-
A story from earlier today in Saint Mocianne's...
DRK tank barely scratches the min. ilvl and tanks the entire dungeon without grit, and without a clue.
We ask him and few times get his game on, but our pleas are met with silence during the entire run. Thankfully our party didn't mind too much and as a NIN I had a bit of fun playing at strategist by re-directing hate as needed with Shadewalker and Smoke Screen![]()
So sorry for the DPS who ran with me and my friend in AKHM. I was healing, and right after the first pull I get the notice that all my accessories had broke.....nice
I check and everything else is about 10% :') My friend was like "okay" and pulled less and put on his VIT accessories. It was doing..okay...until we wiped at the Demon Wall room.
Everything broke.
My HP suddenly went to 2000 and my Cure II barely did 400. It was awesome. We attempted the last boss, because I had like, two pieces of extra gear on me, but we wiped at about 27%.
So embarrassing

Gotta say, getting real tired of the crap I've been getting for playing PLD lately
Over the last week, I've had DPS drop out of EX Roulette before (or just as) the gate drops some 12 times. Of the few times they've actually bothered to say something, one was "Oh sh** a PLD? no thanks, I don't feel like a 40 minute run."
So first, I've hardly ever had a run go above 20 minutes on my PLD, and that variance tells me it's more often the DPS' skill/composition that makes that difference.
Second, It's roulette people. You don't want to take the risk of getting undergeared/unskilled people? Run a premade.
Third, you'd rather eat a 30 minute penalty than maybe getting a slightly longer dungeon run?
Has the relic grind really given people this "need for speed?" I've only really noticed this behavior since 3.15...
I was doing the weekly guildhest roulette on my scholar to lvl, I summon eos instead of selene after putting protect and then
Usual freeze with direct x thingy from ff... anyway
when the freeze is over, only one mob was left the tank was dead and they finished it. I gave my apologies and left
and oddly I got the coms.
Never felt so bad to get them D:
Wouldn't be your fault for a 40 minute run if you're playing PLD correctly.. WAR and DRK are strong but they can't carry bad DPS..Gotta say, getting real tired of the crap I've been getting for playing PLD lately

Another one as AST:
Already did my roulette, but decided to do another. Got 3 sprouts. I knew it was gonna suck from the outset, but I figured I'd deal since it's roulette. As expected, the tank's not keeping aggro. I'm trying to stance dance, but we wipe before even getting to the first boss. Both the tank and one of the DPS MNKs don't release as I requested, forcing us to struggle even harder when the tank already has less HP and takes more damage than I do. (Small wonder, he's not even fully equipped).
First boss, he takes the AoE every time. I cleanse the paralysis, ask him not to stand in AoEs. We keep worming our way through. He dies a few more times, doesn't release, even though I'm now focused exclusively on healing him. We get into the Captain's Quarters and he stands in the big guy's AoE; gets one-shot. Well... the DPS kicked him. (I voted not to; understand it was his first time, but come on...)
I tanked until after the second Captain Madison fight, when we got a competent tank.

That's unfortunate, and I love me some pally tanks, but honestly if they said that, I think them leaving is a blessing in disguise. :P If their runs take 40 minutes with a paladin, there are issues not tied to the job.
Now for mine, this was semi recent. As a preface, I'm not the healer type, I hate doing it, and I don't think I'm particularly good at it. It doesn't matter what game I play, I don't like being a healer, but healing in FFXIV has proven to be a bit easier to get into and allowed for DPS, so I decide to level an astrologian while my BF played arcanist/summoner (though more accurately, I should say it was the only thing I had in his level range to fast track queues).
Most of my experiences weren't bad, and I had previously leveled white mage to 50, but I dreaded healing the Vault. My first handful of runs were smooth, with maybe one or two questionable runs with some interesting people, but nothing major and all concluded well. As I quickly learned, things are fine and uneventful, until Charibert where it can get pretty hectic, but still manageable for me. I got the hang of where and when I use my CDs, pretty much down to a science, and getting in DPS, so it usually isn't as bad as my whinging makes it out to be.
Now, this one run was the only truly bad Vault we had. We had a dark knight tank, and oh boy, I noticed something was off real quick. His HP was dropping more than any other tank I've healed, and it seemed he had no idea what CDs were (which I noticed near the end), but I still am able to keep him up as long as I didn't DPS. The problem really started to present itself with Charibert. He was getting wrecked to the point where I had to spam heal him and pop CDs like no tomorrow while managing the rest of the damage. We wiped numerous times, six or seven times. On the last attempt with him, I asked him to at least use some of his CDs in the fight, to which he popped everything pre-pull and never again in the encounter. I asked him to weave in Delirium, because, hey, maybe that will help! I was getting desperate and needed something to make this work! He replies with "I don't have that." My BF decided to inspect the tank, and the guy was wearing an array of level 50ish gear with some 30-40 pieces, and no boots. Combined with his lack of knowledge on how to play a dark knight, it was apparent that it wasn't going to fly. The only thing I can say in his favour is that he kept up darkside more than half the dark knights I run into.
Tank was booted, but the other DPS left (who actually was pretty good). A second summoner came in, but the wait time for a tank was growing longer. I decide to drop and requeue into the instance as a tank, banking on it being easier to get a healer in. A healer queues in, Charibert eats dirt again via an angry axe to the face.
