No, I already specified that when said look way tactic is implied, no one gets hit. Anything else you gathered is supposition, but we're getting nowhere with this, so lets move on. The ego stroking/bandwagoning is deafening.
Your bait isn't very good since you seem to be going with this story for the long con despite an almost unanimous agreement you are incorrect and refused to post proof. I am pretty sure I made a post many pages ago telling you that by simply posting proof you could back up your claims instead of going "you're wrong."
You still haven't gotten back on that.
Regardless if the doom can be skipped, they still ignored the person who received doom even though they knew how the dungeon worked. We're dealing with someone who will not accept fault, so probably best to just move on at this point.
One person always gets hit by it. That's been the mechanic for that fight since day one. You're right, though...this isn't getting anywhere because clearly, just because a lot of us have pointed out that the doom mechanic specifically for that fight is wrong, it can't be because you weren't paying attention enough to notice that someone got it - or that maybe the heals going out pretty much nullified the mechanic right away. Your other posts that came while I was typing this out...yeah, how about we talk about ego-stroking. Let's talk about the ego here with you. Let's talk about how you spent 10+ pages thinking that you were correct. Boi, please, with what I've seen, Zexy has more credibility on these forums than you. Miste posted a video to prove that you were wrong, but I don't even think you looked at it because you're so conceited with your apparent information that, oh my god, you can never be wrong, right?
I'm not sure what you came to vent about the topic (that you so desperately want to talk about) for. The internet has been a bit screwy all week for a lot of folks. Had a tank that DC'ed right as Byakko normal started earlier tonight, and he was playing fine when I was in their PF for Byakko Ex just minutes prior to me going into a Trial queue.
*also a side note...pretty positive the boss doesn't hit tanks with the doom..

People keep quoting me, and changing the subject of the thread. If I learned anything from posting on boards...its that nerds love being right, and will go to extreme lengths to prove that they're right. I'm the other kind of nerd, I move on and don't dwell.
Oh please, the only reason I even bothered to call you out on this was because of your bad attitude towards the people who tried to politely correct you about the mechanic and then your equally bad attitude towards new players who in your mind are inept because they didn't watch a dungeon video guide. /facepalm
Stop projecting.
PS. It's not bandwagoning if most of the player base has seen the mechanic work a certain way and you are the odd one out claiming it works a total other way and yet keep saying there are tons of video proof on youtube already that you just ....don't feel like linking lol
If it's a gaze effect, then where is the gaze symbol in this image?
Every gaze effect ability requires a gaze symbol.
All I'm hearing is whining and excuses so you don't have to "prove" your side of the argument.
Theoretically speaking, it may be possible to "dodge" the doom by shielding the damage of the actual attack that inflicts it and that person is already at 100% when it lands, thus instantly "cleansing" it.
It's definitely not a gaze attack though. Myste's video is all the proof needed, as well as hundreds of dungeon runs of my own experience in that place back in 2.X.
