Tried to queue up for Void Ark It pops...42 min in progress...

Predictably I've come in at Cuchulainn, where the party has already wiped at least once. We got me and some other dps on another alliance in progress and tried again and things started off well but I could see why they wiped. A alliance (mine) healers kept dropping the ball. We wiped again even after a healer LB3.

That sounds like the run last night I bailed out of...everyone was not moving out of the barf. Since I was playing monk and running through boss for it I could see everyone not moving...after the second time of that and not being healed I left. I had just gotten my healer hat before that in the run so I just need to get my farthing now lol. My raid group wanted to run thordan too so it was additional incentive to leave, usually I don't leave duties after wipes.

Yes, pointed remarks about barf and positioning were made. Also one of the healers snarked about offering A alliance healers raises that they never accepted.

Got my first real kick today!

Had one of those VA/24 man teams with no MT. Also people were using the "Let's take the targeted person to the middle of the crowd", and "Adds can't hurt you, if you don't hurt them" tactics. Obviously, the first boss was a wipe. After a few joking comments, the regular you see after a such a bad performance, half the alliance left.

My parties tank, the last one left starts chirping up about how he "was OT, but my triple fell cleaves took aggro." despite the one who finally stepped up to MT being signifigantly less geared than him. After a few of these comments and myself wanting to tell him to stop swinging his fell cleave around like it was a giant phallus, I said something like "Yes yes, we all understand that your amazing fell cleave ripped hate off the lower geared tank." what I assume was his SMN friend chirped up too. (that one had some annoying macros btw. like 4 /p comments about Virus type ones.) I said Awww I'm sorry, and got the boot, which was nice, because I wanted out and new players had joined.

Happened today during the daily roulette.

The dungeon was Saint Mocianne's Arboretum. We was at the gate before the second boss.

If it was that place then the BLM has no clue how to play the job. Should have been using Leylines, Enochian and Fire/Blizz4, y'know the high level whupass spells, unless Ryan2714 just did not include those in his post.

I can agree that they are in no way optimizing their DPS. No doubt they could improve. But as Fluestergras mentioned, there are MUCH worse rotations a BLM can do. The only issue I had was that he made it seem as if he gave no real advice to the BLM and then decided based on a player doing subpar dmg, he would simply let them die, then blame them for a dungeon run being slow. Saying that a player ignored advice and mechanics after being advised to how they work, then sure, I would of agreed 100% with the poster. Reading a post along the lines of, "I didn't like how they played their role, so I didn't play mine correctly to teach them a lesson" on the otherhand, I do not support.

Maybe cause of my angry when being called elitish when trying to help and my bad english have lead to some misunderstanding, sr for that.
If i was a real elitist, i will ask her to use ley line/enochian/fire IV/bliz IV rotation -whick she didnt use at all, maybe sometime ley line, enochian but zero fire/bliz IV- to maxium damage output as blm but no, all i asked her is to use bliz III instead of cast 4 bliz I to get the full stacks of umbral ice quicker, use Fire I after fire III to deal more damage not use only 2 Fire III ( she only use 2 fire III after have full 3 umbral ice buff and then cast bliz I again ), what i have back ? she's totally ignore me, just said this is her playstyle.
We have a newbie in that dungeon, but that the drg not her, and he didnt die even once, the tank alway give the big detail about boss like seduced, bad breath, bee crossfire .... before boss fight, did he -the drg- get hit by crossfire bee, yes, did he get seduced, yes but after that you can see how he try to fix it and get better.
When i said "i let her die" doesnt mean i dont heal her, i even cast balance, arrow on her to help her "deal more damage" with her terrible rotation, bole to help her surrvive, in boss 2 she die when the boss is about 10% hp so i decide to keep the other 2 alive and help dps to burst down the boss ( rude but sure that my dps is way higher than her ). At final boss she die when boss is about 15% hp, the other dps get seduced and i am at low mana ( about 2-3k mana ) cause of long fight healing, so i may be wrong but at that time i decide to not wasting my mana cast raise for her, then i focus on the other dps and the tank to keep them alive.
I have met a lot of "strange" players too, like a blm dont use enochian, bard/mch dont use minuet/guass, tank that dont use tank stance or cd, smn only cast dot not casting ruin, ice mage ... but did i get mad at them ? No, i dont do it because when i or the other teammate said "do you know how to play ...", they give me a reason for doing that like " the enochian buff control is too stressful for me" "i dont like the casttime" "i want to dps as a tank" ... not like yesterday when what i got was "that is my playstyle" "i do what i want" "this is just a game"

In response to all those sub optimal BLM posts lately, I leveled BLM to 60, did okay until 60, then I had trouble figuring out the rotation at 60 and spent one dungeon doing some pretty sub optimal damage, but I was with a team and apologized for my fresh 60 approach to the job. Then I put BLM on the back burner until I have time to look at the recommended rotation and practice on a dummy. SMN has been far more flexible and intuitive to me, and Enochian seems a lot harsher than having Blood of the Dragon fall off as dragoon.

Basically if you can't play the class optimally, and you know that, why not try other jobs until you find a good fit? Rather than continue to waste others time by refusing to take constructive criticism or try to get better.

Personally, I have noticed a massive uptake in terrible tanks. I prefer leveling instances over FATE grinding, so inevitably i get to have a roulette of random terrible tanks. I ran Sohm Al today and had a Dark Knight who couldn't hold threat and then blamed it on my because he was marking and he felt I shouldn't be AoEing. Then I got vote kicked. Before that I did level 50 roulette as SCH, the PLD was level 53 and didn't know how to use cool downs or use flash. I feel like its an invasion of the not-so-good-extremely-bad tanks.

I got Stone Vigil HM for my roulette and everything was going fine, but right before the first boss, the tank and healer just left. Didn't say anything, just gone. I went to my FC and LSes and got replacements and we knocked it out in under 15 mins. It was just weird.
