I got banned for....not even sure what I did. I played Archage for all of 20 minutes, that was the last I had touched of the game. Fast forward a few months I tried to play another game of theirs and it said I had been banned, to appeal I had to give like a giant list of bull I just threw my hands up and said screw it. Wanted the paypal that was linked, the CC used if any, keys of games purchased and like 10 other things. Safely saying I am not gonna bother with them anymore.
I have one.
Christmas Day, I do Guildhest Roulette on one of my alts. It's Ward Up. Haven't done it in a while.
We each start taking on a mob...except the tank didn't grab any of the others. Soon, people start dying and the whole thing goes to pot. Healer gets mouthy, I call out the tank. Healer says it's all the DPS' fault and that we should just do our jobs. We try again, and I discover why we kept dying last time.
The healer was leaving Eos to do all the healing, against mobs that were doing more damage than she could heal, and the tank still wasn't holding all the mobs.
*facedesks*
We barely made it that time, but seriously. Kinda hard for DPS to 'just do their job' when the others won't do theirs... >_<
'Have you ever noticed that sometimes when you cry no one sees your tears, sometimes when you're sad no one understands your pain, sometimes when you're happy no one sees your smile, but you just have to fart once and everyone knows?'
Alexander normal 2. My friend and I both first time, me as tank, him as heal. When we get to the boss, as soon as the cutscene starts "the area will be closed off in 15 seconds". And sure enough, as we come out of the cutscene, we're locked out.... That's right, some asshole unable to wait for 15 seconds got a tank and a healer locked out. So I left and farmed myself 6 luminous crystals instead. Got better things to do with my time than sit around doing nothing because some asshole locked me out. I'm sure the extra time they spent on the boss because they were down two players more than made up for those 15 seconds....
Wiped once on the first floor of Alex today (this was after a few awful runs and we literally wiped with maybe half a percent so I was like "okay that was good for today I guess") and one of the healers says something like "waiting for vote I don't want to run with this group again".
Be mindful we got that far with only seven people since the tank accidentally pulled early (they apologized).
I told the healer if they wanted to leave then they could take their penalty. Apparenlty people agreed with me because the vote kick didn't go through.
Sorry I still don't like catering to people who don't try.
They stayed and we beat it btw

Geez is this a duty finder stories thread or a discussion about a party of 13 years olds?

Some days ago, I was in Sunken Temple levelling my pally. Instance starts, no heads-up that it was anyone's first time, good, this'll be okay I think.
TLR: Final Stings, standing in every single AoE / telegraphed attack zone, pulling mobs, standing NEXT to me during 1st boss fight...etcetc. You'd think after 1-2 deaths to mechanics as simple as "don't stand in a bloody AoE or telegraphed area" would have taught them something but noooo. Not this group. Did I mention trying to get them to not kill the stone heads thingees before they were on the platform? Yeah.
Arrived at the mob group before final boss, with 2 crocs and the skelly mob. Only this time, healer decides to stand so far away, he was basically twiddling his thumbs while my HP dwindled, and poofed. Losing my cool already, the healer said he didn't want to die again when I asked what happened to heals.
At this point, there was only roughly 8 minutes left to finish Qarn. I wished them luck and left.

A1. The DPS part of the group consists of a monk, a dragoon, a ninja and myself on bard. I'm not parsing but according to the overall aggro and the time we needed to kill Faust (we almost wiped...) I was the top DPS o.o
We reach the Oppressor and I take aggro after my opener (I didn't use Quelling Strikes so I'm not utterly innocent, but on the other hand I never had to use it before), I facetank it about half a minute before the paladin takes it back. Then the scholar goes afk and dies while the first adds appear which I take care of alone. During the second set of adds I get the mini debuff, rockets explode, we wipe. The scholar is still afk, the ninja says "this run tho", and a votekick with the reason "offline" starts - but it's not the scholar about to get kicked, it's the ninja o.o It even goes through - probably people don't even read the name of the person who is getting kicked, they blindly hit "yes" o.o After the kick everyone leaves until it's only me and this afk scholar. Well... ... ...bye dude.
To be honestly my pasttime is seeing which DF tanks I can steal aggro from on my bard with my opener......
It's pretty fun (I give it right back)
