What is there to not understand. It's not an AS raid party, it's DF, as long as it's cleared and the party survived without multiple wipes, 10/10, do not care.

Right. They didn't wipe because the tanks did their job. Healers ignoring healing to put out more DPS is not something you should commend. That's ridiculous.

And yet I just did. I already explained why, but keep on like fishing if it makes you feel better.

And you said "or but they healed when things went bad"... Things went bad because they didn't heal in the first place. If the tanks were less skilled or timely with CDs there would have been a wipe. Oh but I guess it's okay because there wasn't one?

I said they clearly made mistakes, and that they could have performed better. I'm not sure what else you want me to say.

The WAR ended up dying, for example, because he wasn't healed properly. It was only salvaged due to proper tank play. And no, the healers raising the WAR doesn't save a wipe. He wouldn't have had to be raised if he was healed.

Again, mistakes were made. What was the point of posting this?

It is also entirely optional to have such healers in my party, and so I will continue to kick any player who think doing the bare minimum of their job is acceptable.

I don't care what anyone may try to argue, healers who refuse to DPS cannot be called good healers. They're substandard at best.

The simple fact you only care about people pressing random buttons and the party proceeding to finish the dungeon / primae shows that you - in the very end - have a totally broken sense of logic.

Healers denying heals to dps more, nearly wiping the raid, fucking over the tanks, letting them die, ultimatively risking the whole thing and nearly making it take longer (since you have to restart) than initially needed = Okay for you. Because FUCK IT, THEY DID SOMETHING. They pressed 1 every 3 seconds, stop blaming them for anything!

But healers watching the health of people, healing the tanks, ensuring a smooth, and easy run / kill -> those lazy guys deserve to get kicked out of your group, not pressing any button is HERESY.

Honestly, i just don't know how all you care about is someone not using every gcd he gets. Don't bother explaining, i won't be able to follow that logic anyways.

All i care about is that the run / kill is smooth and everyone ensures the party survives and the boss gets killed. Healers having downtime? No probs, they keep us alive.

Yes. It is okay for me. They're actively contributing, they're helping speed up the run, they're not sitting there twirling their canes and acting like they're doing the same amount of work everyone else is doing. A+.

I'm not even arguing with you anymore. You're a level 59 WHM, and your other two classes are at 50. Get some experience before trying to defend something you know nothing about. Your justifying not DPSing as "watching the party" comes from your low skill level, not a valid argument; a good healer knows how to put out damage while still keeping an eye on the group, not nervously standing around waiting for HP bars to drop.
