Also agreed. You can keep your soulstone on, but call yourself a CNJ. In fact, BLM, SCH, and WHM are all forbidden jobs under the lore. If you want to roleplay as such, you're roleplaying as a THM, CNJ, or a healing-focused ACN.

I agree as well. Feel free to use a Fantasia, but don't roleplay it out. Find a way to kill off or remove the existing character and start anew.

Agreed. If you're going to roleplay a DRG, roll an Elezen. If you're going to roleplay a MNK, roll a Highlander Hyur. (this ties back to disregarding the lore as well)

This can be argued as canon sadly. There are instances of NPCs purring and hissing (or doing other cat-like mannerisms) as a part of their speech patterns. For example U'odh Nunh (Forgotten Springs) and Miah Molkot (Proud Creek) both do this. It's probably a recessive genetic trait given the uncommonness (such as heterochromia)
-Miqo'te that call significant others "mates" refer to sex as "mating" call their children kits/kittens
The whole "mating" thing makes me cringe (the only time the word "mate" is acceptable is if you're a pirate). That being said, I do recall an NPC using the word kitten to describe another miqo'te. I also remember the one archer quest, the enemy miqo'te refers to her group as her litter. Although it seems weird, I think it ties back to the above thing about "purring" and such. It seems the wild Miqo'te NPCs have a much more feral personality than the ones living or working in major cities. I might have to let that behavior slide.

I'd argue that this is over-strict now that the ruins of both Nym and Ampdapor have been discovered and extensively explored and we're about to do the same with the Mhachi ruins in the Void Ark. You still shouldn't be RPing that you're the special one chosen by A-Towa-Cant or Ququruka but the actual art is available to be discovered in other ways, the new Black Mage quest-line is even built on that premise.

I haven't gotten all the way through the Black Mage questline, but from the beginning of it which I've seen, it seems to be lore appropriate to be a black mage, but not very lore appropriate to openly admit to being a black mage. So when in-character, black mages should probably still call themselves thaumaturges, to hide the fact that they're actually something more than that. It comes out sounding to others the same as if you were roleplaying as a THM, but isn't exactly the same thing.
