Please seperate the DoL/H weapons/offhands from the DoM/W weapons/shields, put them in a seperate tabs if you must. It's not gonna add that much load to the data ticks would it?

why? do you carry 20 shields with you, or what?
there are 23 classes and 25 slots, where is the prob?
throw away useless stuff and you'll be fine forever
Part of why it's not quite so simple as "throw away mainhands you are not using", is because if you do something like pvp, or have a gear set for working on a relic, you run into issues. And this is not even talking about glamours--if you want to make the argument that glamours should be kept in inventory or retainer, I would concede that point. It's what I have been doing to cope.
I have a couple jobs that I keep BiS or near-BiS ready for capped pvp, and it's only going to get worse.
Let's talk about the real armory chest issue though: RINGS! Oh my goodness, talk about nightmares if you PvP or have a tank build for DPS in addition to your normal tanking setup. Yikes. Remember that healers tend to want VIT gear in PvP, so yeah....I've been very annoyed with the space for rings, in addition to the space for mainhands.
Also, some of us have gearsets for spiritbinding.
We just need more Armory Chest slots period. Leveling all classes is near impossible as is because, uess you painstakingly cross level all classes, then you have gear levels all over the place. My sole motivation for getting classes I hate to 50+ is so I can keep a single gearset for each.
It's also getting worse now that crafter gearsets are going back to class-specific rather than shared artisan.
