    I was one of the people who took issue with the way maintenance was done before. It has been many weeks now where I have not been annoyed by it. Thank you for listening to your customers and taking such quick action FFXIV team

    Maintenance times will inconvenience some people no matter what times they have them unless they schedule them for each zone in the world, aka Japan, US and EU during their offpeak hours.
    To me, the maintenance has never affected me as when they started I am already at work, and servers are back up before I get back home

    Most of the maintenance times tend to be around content releases to implement patches or hotfixes. They haven't had to do much recently since its been a while since they did anything. Expect more to come when 3.1 comes out. Maintenance is necessary. Having a 4 hour downtime on the game is better than having a broken game.

    I get off work at 11pm, and make it home buy midnight. I remember that I had ~1 hour to play before maintenance kicks in, and I'm not staying up until 3am or later just to play after a long day at work lol...
