    This is also one of the reasons we decided both implement a normal and savage version of Alexander. Once again, healer DPS was not included in the development team's calculation as it was for other jobs, so you should just think of healer DPS as a last way to get your overall party's DPS up where it needs to be.

    Honestly there should not be a top event.
    There should be raid gear which is the top Ilvl (If we are keeping ilvls which I see as a bad concept in general)
    There should be allaince gear which is the top Ilvl
    There should be more solo/longterm work gear (aka relics) which are top Ilvl
    There should be some crafted gear that is Top ILvl... Combine crafting with endgame primals for example. Take ravana wing x2 and Rare craft item from say Void Arch with some base items from the new Islands and craft a Ilvl 200 piece which powerwise =s 210 with materia.

    The idea of the best should drop from X is the problem with the game.

    Raids are not the problem with XIV endgame... the problem is that is the only endgame we have that drops the best stuff.

    The fact that the areas aren't instanced and you can encounter other groups out there kills my enthusiasm. We all know how this is going to go down. Hunts 2.0. Hundreds of players vying for the same sets of mobs. HNM spawns, is ganked, and dies in 4.7 seconds. People yell and scream. Fun times I guess?

    then they should add pop items you need to farm and use to spawn the monsters, and once spawn only group that spawned it can attack it, but that will never happen

    edit: just thought of something, they could do something like the hunt board, kill those and receive credits which you could trade in to an npc to receive the pop item to spawn a monster, I could see that working.

    This is bacially my only fear, also if it requires 24man group then i guess me and my static is out of luck, and here i tought we could do some epic "non-instanced" raid bosses. Also i hope PvP is enabled in there, the amount of butthurt would be so damn sweet(ganking other parties MT while he is tanking a boss huehue).

    That's the point of Savage content though, it's harder, harder to gear, and harder to complete cause it's harder to gear. When this new content comes out it means there are now more options to gear, more options to gear means higher IL to handle savage content.
