The reclassification of the current fairies may seem odd but Eos and Selene are actually the Greek gods of Dawn and the Moon respectively (granted I only knew of this because of Eosinophil granulocytes)

Thunder should be Titania while Ice should be Mab, but I was thinking pretty much this exact same thing. :P

I'd rather have Summoners having their already 3 types of summon, choice of what Egi would appear AND each Egi would have unique abilities. Element-based damage doesn't mean much at all, since I believe there aren't any monsters who have weaknesses or resistance from it? I'm not sure about that though.

Tank: Titan, Shiva, Bismarck
Melee: Ifrit, Leviathan, Ravana
Caster: Garuda, Ramuh

Let Arcanists keep their Carbuncles, but I do support of them being usable again as a SMN.
I suggest that the Egis at least get a few more abilities though, not just 4.

Personally I think they should just create a new pet job for those wanting pets, with their abilities more focused on their pets. Traditionally summoners could summon a primal for a one time massive spell, which I think is where they are heading.

Summoners get their carbuncles back - who plays an Arcanist at max level anyway? Cutest pet model completely gone, it's a shame.
