You know what? I concede that it is not mandatory for healers to DPS. As long as we complete the duty, we are good to go. When I queue up on my DPS class, I won't expect the healer to do more than what is necessary. Furthermore, I'll put up Bio, maybe a Miasma, then let Titan Egi do the rest while I watch Attack on Titan (great anime, btw) on my other monitor. I'll dodge AoEs with my peripheral vision. It isn't mandatory that we clear the dungeon any faster than the 90 minutes allotted, so I'll take my time and do the minimum necessary.

And I reckon far too many people have this idea in their heads and only pay 20% attention to the game, and are the reason I avoid DF randoms like the plague. There is no way in hell most of the community wants to sit in a dungeon for 90mins because people don't actually want to try past the bare minimum, I have better things to do than waste my time on something that can easily take 15-30mins.

Wanted to write something like this (in a less sarcastic way), but I'm just too tired of this silly mentality that healers can do the bare minimum while dps have to work their asses off to even bother. If healers are allowed to just heal and maybe dps whenever they feel like it even though they can dps for 90% of the time in a dungeon, then the same reasoning should apply to tanks (should I just spam flash/OP from now on?) and dps shouldn't feel obliged to put effort in dealing good damage.
So we can all have fun chatting during the 50-60 minutes it will take to clear fractal.

In the occasions where i have to party with randoms and the healer isn't DPSing i will purposefully eat AOEs to hit my positional attacks thereby giving them something to do at least and increasing my own damage seeing as we have to carry their lazy ass i might as well get more damage in...
