lol if you say so... I have run into so many dungeons where dps's and tanks just complain bc the healer just heals o.O??? I am someone who likes to level all jobs so I can have an understanding of how each job works like knowing their flaws and strengths. So when I tank or heal I know what I can do and what not to do. For example if the group is smn and blm then I know I can pull extra mobs w/out adding more strain on the healer. But I always ask how the group feels about extra pulls and if the healer says "NO" I wont do it period.
I always ask and make sure everyone in the group is on board b4 I go pulling everything in sight. I keep an eye out on the healers mp bar.... I make sure to keep everything as still as possible when a mnk is in the group so the mnk can go all out w/out worring about where the mobs are facing. And I make sure to group the mobs as close together as I can so the smn and blm can just aoe bomb the crap out of them.
I make sure to rotate my cd's properly so I don't put heavy strain on the healer bc that mp is precious and if I can help keep that bar up the run will go smooth and quick.
As a tank I just don't hold agro and take all the punches to the face I watch what the group does and keep an eye out for anything that will make me do a change up in my play style... I try to adapt to the play style of everyone in the group and by the time I reach the 1st boss I pretty much know what I need to do to keep the dungeon run as smooth as possible.
I don't force my play style on anyone instead I adapt to other play styles and that goes for any class I play. I guess you can say I have a chameleon like play style.
The art of Adapting and Blending is my kung fu.... I will always bend with the wind. I will always move with the tide. You can not break me... I will never laugh at a weaker person or kick them while they are down. I will always stride to help them stand on there own 2 feet so they to can be strong... that is my kung fu my way of life.
Always stride to build a stronger foundation for others to stand on so they may know strength. Never give up on a person because we all make mistakes... the best feeling you can ever have is that moment of clarity where it finally make since.
