Looking to make an alt on Balmung

Don't wanna pay near $20 to transfer and I have a guild, linkshell and friends on my current server, but I heard the people on Balmung was fun to play with, so any advice if I get in the server?

Hello!

The server is very active and people are friendly enough... However if you have a solid group you may not like transferring here. I transferred here and although I've met a few people...most people already have their group so it can be hard to find one if that makes sense. If you DO make an alt, feel free to message me. I transferred here about 2 weeks ago from Jenova. If you have any specific questions go ahead and shoot!

Balmung is a friendly server. I've been here since before it was even Balmung (when it was still Besaid back in 1.0 beta). Yeah, I have loyalty to this server, but it really is friendly, so long as you get out there and talk to people and make friends. :3
You can always send a tell to me as well, if you ever need anything. I'm always willing to help other helpful, friendly people.

Unfortunately, right now, until they finish moving the servers, you can't. There's like virtually no time period when the server is open. Maybe in a few months if you want to get in free. I was lucky enough to get an alt in before the move.

That said, the community itself is amazing, and if you do transfer over, I'm sure you'll like it.
