Steam in-game menu use

I'm unable to bring up the in-game steam menu's since the 1.19 patch, of course, i'm playing the game full screened.

Steps:
Installed the 1.19 update.

Date & Time:
091623W102011

Frequency:
Always.

Platform:
Windows PC.

PC Manufacturer & Model Number:
Homebuilt Computer.

Operating System:
Windows 7 64 Bit.

Graphics Card:
EVGA GeForce GTX 590 Classified.

ISP:
Oceanic Time Warner.

Type of Internet Connection:
Cable.

You can buy FFXIV on steam? Because I thought that was sorta weird. I went on steam and checked, it's not there.

This would better belong on Steam forums, as its not Squares issue but Valves.

it's not a steam game, i've just been using it as a 'non-steam' game which has been allowing me to use the ingame menu's for a browser and chat support... up until 1.19 it's been fine, SE did something which blocked that usage and i havent been able to use it since

so that's why i think it's a SE problem and not a valve problem

also posted it all nice and such in accordance with the forum guide hoping an admin would reflect on it

Again wrong place to ask about this. Steam/Valve forums is where you should ask about this as they are the ones who can make any needed changes to the Steam client. Square in no way can know or help if their changes break something that they don't support.
