I don't like any of the ideas except the set bonuses for gear but even then it's tough to balance that out and it'd favor more classes to bring X job instead of Y. For example if they made something like idk 4 set for Mch gives hypercharge +5% more dmg from physical and magic attacks where bards would get something like your bloodletter when it resets has a 50% increased crit rate. It'd have to be balanced pretty hard to achieve this. Again just pulling his outta me arse.

As a former ff11 player i kinda would like some of this, but not all.

First off, gear set stats like the ones you suggested don't work in a Duty finder game set up. Those stats tend to become make or break by the community and you end up getting shunned or insulted, or simply kicked out of a party for not having this gear. I had personally experienced alot of that stuff in ff11 more so when gear swapping became near manditory.

Secondly, said gear i mentioned mostly came from NM or notorious monsters which in ff11 would spawn at random and drop the gear at random. Think atma farming pre-changes or relic dungeon drops pre-changes, but worst. They would pretty much need to make them to what ff14 1.0 made them, which was 5 min pop timers and 50% drop rates. And just to add we are already having issues with Hunt mobs in the ARR fields not being killed off, it sucks when trying to level or do a quest and a A rank or S rank is pretty much in your leve or quest area.

As for the dye system, things would have to be changed. Mostly because our character/gear data is pretty high to what Yoshida-san had said. Then you have to revamp the dyes as it would add to the inventory bloat. I personaly carry 2 stacks of dye to keep my color scheme adding more toning would easily make it 3-4 stacks based on gear and how they two toned it.

I do wish content lasted longer, due to personal issues and some game issues I missed out on coil, no one really does it and it takes a bit to find people willing to undersize it which makes it near irrelivent. In ff11 content lasted years, I miss that a bit. Ansd coming from 1.0 and being a fan girl of bahamut that was one content i REALLY wanted to do.

Lastly, how is the ps3 limiting ff14? All i read is people making assumptions, and not really explaining the why using facts. I play on the ps3 and can't afford the ps4 atm, nor could i afford to buy ARR and HW for a third time. The ps3 i own was a gift from a old boyfriend to play ff14 when we first heard of it back in 2010/2011, and i do chores for my mom to pay for ff14. If they drop it now i could play it, and i love this game.
