Met a new player today, who had just finished their Leves and didn't know what else to do content wise. I explained a few things about her options but then just decided "oh well I'll just change my job to a lower ranked one" so 5 levels later after a run through some of my own leves, she was more knowledgeable about the game, made a new friend, and actually felt more inclined to play. I learned right after he had just planned to log when she had run out of her own leves. She also got into a new linkshell.

Now she forms party groups with people inside the Linkshell and runs leves with them too. She works at a good pace since she got to level 19 in three days. That's not bad considering she was never mentioned power leveling. The game isn't that bad to rank up now, I don't see the need to power level. If people would be social and meet people, they'd be more inclined to play. Power leveling doesn't do that, it was meeting a person to group with that did.
