Need suggestions for my Bard relic

I had heard that SE may add some kind of benefit for us having our zenith weapon done when the next one comes out. And since they made it easier to make, I am currently working on mine. I only got the Animus at this point, but I heard that for the Novus I need to get materia and increase stats for it. I was wondering what stats would someone recommend I should meld to it and how exactly does that work (Does stat +1 mean 1/75 and +3 mean 3/75? Which grade materia would be better to equip to them and what would be the easiest way to get said materia be besides MB? What items to spiritbond and convert to get said materia would be easier?)

Also while on the topic for bard, how can I properly use my auto-attack and/or Barrage skill to fullest potential?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's absolutely nothing on what having a zeta would acutally do to benefit.

As for the mnelding, you are pretty much attaching materia to a scroll to give it +1 of that stat. You need a total of 75 secondary stats on the scroll to proceed to the next stat.
You're going to have to use at least grade III materia to finish the scroll. You need to start from I and upwards the more you meld (it'll first take eleven Is, then eleven II, etc etc.


As for your BRD question, there's really no "right way" to use auto attacks other than to make sure you're always facing the enemy. And even tehn you won't have auto attacks down the road so it becomes a non-issue. Barrage should always be paired with your strongest weaponskill (which would be empyreal arrow and buffs). It's 90 second cooldown aligns perfectly with B4B and HE.
