any luck with beta AMD drivers?(DX11)

Anyone had any luck fixing the DX11 crash issue with the latest beta drivers for the R9 300 series(dated 27 Sept)?

I haven't gotten a chance to, and I have really bad luck with beta drivers anyway, but figured I'd ask.

It's listed now as a known issue.

They rolled back the latest beta drivers as they had serious flaws. I wouldn't use them myself.

I generally don't use beta drivers anyways but I'm *really* wanting to use DX11 and not have to worry about crashing in the middle of something important.

That being said, if you run the game in fullscreen, or bordered window mode in DX11, there shouldn't be an issue.

Yep, new drivers just came out that replaced the buggy ones. Try those =)

I was having chronic issues with this for a long time, but for reasons unknown the issue hasnt occured on DX11 for over three weeks. I haven't changed anything, and haven't even upgraded my drivers or anything. I guess its just luck really. But when a official version of those drivers hits, ill def give them a try. I might play around with them anyways, because I also play Elite Dangerous and would appreciate that fix as well...

Edit: Oh just noticed those issues are listed under "known" issues, so that means they haven't been addressed yet. Dang!

Hmm the known issue is no longer listed on the newest beta driver 15.10, and it is also not listed as a resolved issue either. Did they fix it, or I wonder if they are no longer looking into addressing it, or maybe it simply got left out of the notes by mistake idk.

I put on 15.9.1 and haven't had any issues with it at all (been using them for a few weeks now). Haven't played with 15.10, but after reading about some issues on other games, decided not to go with them. With AMD, the drivers tend to vary so much between releases, I've found that if you find a version that works for you, don't upgrade..especially into the Beta versions.

15.10 works for me with a furyx no issue so far. (and beta just mean that's it's not whql, does not mean beta like beta testing with the bug that goes with it like for an early access game)
