    old coil adjusted for lvl 60?

    just an idea to throw here. all these coil runs from 1 to 13 are trivial for a lvl 60 team. they are designed for lvl 50. now all our new players are coming to heavensward skiping this content and it's deemed irrelivant.

    why not revampt it into lvl 60? isn't that what was done in WOW? i didnt play WOW , but i am sure if developers put some work in this. all they need to do is, ballance mob's HP, DMG, enrage timers to fit into a lvl60 challange for us.

    but by doing so , one might ask what is the reward? well, they could put tokens or tomes that we actually need. let's say a new way to get ur ESO items upgraded, instead of doing quest of 3 CTs like they did before, this is what they can do :

    have the ESO Upgrade Items drop in Void ARK , and for an additional DROP, u can do the Old Coils etc for the same thing, after are are re-balllanced for lvl 60 gear.

    what do u guys think?

    The biggest complaint atm is that there isn't a variety of content (I'm not on that bandwagon though). I mean, your idea is okay, but I think people would prefer SE focus on something new.

    Coil needs to just go into roulette.Maybe make savage coil for all 13 turns and change it to lvl 60 on top of that.
    The main issue with alex and Alex Savage is that it's boring as hell and while there is a 20 ilvl difference in the gear it both looks the same.this was a huge mistake on SE's part i feel.
    Likewise with CT if they were to release a Savage version which was lvl 60 requirement with ilvl 180 gear drops.Maybe different color variations of the CT gear would make the content relevant again.

    problem with revamping coil is that timings on enemy attacks, mechanics and what not don't sit well with some of the new skills, maybe an increase in a bosses hp might resolve some but not all.

    if you have ever tried t11 as blm you would see that although possible its very annoying to try to use the new rotation in there in an unsynced party.

    so if they did decide to do all the work on retiming the fights and damage output and fixing the mechanics it would be a surprisingly big task, I wouldn't mind it but then you could just go run it synched to get the challenge back.

    if they did decide to do such an idea though I would hope its a new instance and not a replacement to the current coil

    There's still people who don't have Heavensward and may never intended to get it. It would deprive them of their lvl50 raid. There's still Savage Coil for those who want it.

    I'm against using development time re-balancing old content for lvl 60 when it could be better spent on new stuff. Doesn't coil have a "minimum ilvl sync"? If people want to try the old raids at their intended difficulty, why can't they just do that? Re-balancing old content might make some of the newcomers happy, but I doubt that people who have been playing since 2.0 want their next form of progression to come from content they've cleared 50 times.

    I dislike how our community rush content, then want something new. I have yet to step into Alexander Savage, so I always have that moment of excitement when I log in knowing, like the past Raids, that someone will say, "Jim, want to learn Alex Savage?"

    Or what if we had a "Coil Boss Rush" instance where, starting from T1, each boss or bosses spawn back to back (of course giving us time to get a 1 minute break).

    I think if FFXIV had some of FFXI's content, like Limbus, Dynamis, Salvage, Nyzul Isle, there will definitely be something for everyone. As old as content is in that game, people STILL enter them.

    I just beat Turn 13 today(Thank God) and I'm glad we can come at level 60 that makes it easier. As for adjusting, they would need a massive incentive to replay the hardest content for level 50 stuff again after already beating it dozens if not hundreds of times..

    I've got a idea, whatever they do to it, make it 60 or not but add new gear that looks that same as old coil gear but dyeable. I know peeps complain about the Savage gear looking the same but so what? 9/10 you either gonna glam it or show if off and if you did, dye it, that is a main thing for people beining able to dye stuff!
