A lot of monks had a similar knee-jerk reaction to those skills, but having played with them for a while I think I speak for most of us when I say we're happy with them.

The only one people still aren't keen on is Tornado Kick because it's such a pain in the butt to time optimally in most cases. As for increasing Forbidden Chakra power, I disagree. For one, you can't compare flat potencies. ALL Monk skills have low potency relative to other jobs to compensate for the speed and frequency at which they hit - and Greased Lightning multipliers - and Twin Snakes. 320 is huge for a MNK. Furthermore, increasing its power - especially to 500 :P - could shift optimal rotations out of whack since the skill would become centralising. Having to press Meditation every other GCD would butcher MNK's fluid playstyle and make it annoyingly spammy with a disjointed rhythm.
