2x XP for Logging Out in House/FC House?

There's so little incentive for players to return to their houses in the game, and the housing districts seem completely abandoned at times. It's really disheartening that it's not used more often.

Can you please implement a significant XP boost, even for an hour, for logging out in the residential districts?

To be fair, he just said 'logging out in the residential district'. Anyone can go there at any time. Sleep on the lawn of one of the many abandoned houses! Hell, there might be someone on my cot right now since i leave my house unlocked!

If you don't exactly care about vanity and having a pretty girly dollhouse, why did you even plunk down the money for the house to begin with?

I don't think they're going to bother making two separate kinds of rested xp just for this. They might eventually increase rested bonus to 100% from 50% as a whole, but I can guarantee you it won't have anything to do with logging out in housing districts.

Something like Seasonal Events would work better... That Christmas event was pretty good, I'd like to see more events incorporate the Housing Wards, and generally do a better job of it... Halloween is coming, I think Trick or Treating could be really interesting if implemented correctly... Complete with some lighthearted vandalism of property... It's virtual property after all, it's not like cleaning up toilet paper would be difficult... Would certainly be interesting to see who doesn't clean up after as well...

Another thing I'd really like to see them do is fully expand upon the idea of having Retainers and Gold Saucer activities in house;

Being able to effectively set up a stall for your Retainer to sell from is great, but I think it needs some work... Turn Housing Wards into the old Market Wards, for example. Adjust the Market Board so you can see where a Retainer is located, then have it so purchasing from a Retainer in the Housing Ward effectively acts as a discount. Currently if you sell something on the Market Board for 1,000G, you're likely only going to get 950G of that due to the tax. If you own an estate with a Retainer set, make it so you can sell that same item for 950G from your Retainer on the estate, with the tax moving to the buyer. Now, you put it up for 950G, on the Market Board it turns into 1,000G for the buyer, but they can travel to your estate and instead buy it without the tax, for 950G. The seller is getting the exact same amount of Gil from the sale, but the buyer can pay less if they use the Housing Wards. The Housing Wards then become the default market place, rather than the market areas in the four cities.

For Gold Saucer activities... Right now we only have Triple Triad, and we can technically set up our own tournaments if we want, but the tools for organizing something like that are fairly limited, as would the rewards we can offer. I don't think it's something that can reasonably be set up well at the moment, which is a shame. Thinking about it I do recall them mentioning that it would be possible to have Free Company Chocobo Races, so that's perhaps another thing they could do for Free Company Housing at least, now that I think about it circuits based on the Housing Wards would be quite nice... More so if it's something that can actually be spectated...

But seriously. There was already a rested xp system with inns and rooms. It got expanded to the entire city and safespots in the open world, so for SE to do a complete 180 and go the opposite way by only giving a xp boost to houses does not make sense.

BTW, this is just going to drive the existing inequality and demand for housing upwards.
