    Not to detract from the conversation in any way, since I do think that you should be able to plead your case, but this is how the judicial system works in the US. It's a very different story in many other countries. Since SE is a Japanese company (with subsidiaries in the US, but the parent company is very much in Japan) they really don't have to and likely won't ascribe to the same concept of the judicial system that we do. I do sincerely hope the OP gets this worked out, but remember you're not dealing with US regulations or ideologies here.

    Actually it is a human right to have due process before the law. It is internationally agreed upon that everyone is deemed innocent until proven guilty and people have the right to defend themselves. This is no different whether it be France, Italy, US, Brazil, China or Japan. Globalization has really made this the mainstream view.
