With SE obviously prepared to make big changes, (ie complete zone redesign) how would you feel if the current classes were scrapped and replaced with traditional ones?
I personally would prefer them to do this than to try and and implement them into the game with the current mish mash of traditional classes, of course they better allow me to transfer my total SP/EXP onto the new classes of my choice ^^
With the current system I also do not like being tied to a certain weapon, like on MRD it look's as if I will be tied to a G. Axe forever. For those of you who like to be able to change classes quickly you still could. They could just add a "class/job" button to the menu you click that and choose your class and it automatically would gear it and set your action bar up to however you had it the last time you played that class.
How does everyone else feel about this, would you prefer they just kept it as is and left out traditional classes, or try to add them in on top of current ones, or just get rid of the current ones and replace with traditional?
*EDIT* To clear things up I never said ANYTHING about changing the ARMOURY SYSTEM!!!! What I mean is you could define classes with TRAITS but still allow cross class abilities and skills. For example WAR could have Double Attack as a trait, BLM something to boost elemental nukes, WHM a trait that boosts cures, DRG a Wyvern, these are exclusive to the class as traits.
Now when you level your BLM you could add you cure's from WHM, Provoke from WAR, BOOST from MNK and so on to create your ridiculous BLM tank hybrid class that you want so bad.
