What stresses me out is the I195 bards that pull extra mobs in a dungeon. And even knowing we have a i195 blm/smn in the group, don't use foes a single time(except for boss's, yay?). It's like ok.. I can handle that many mobs, but the healer gonna run out of mp, if you don't kill everything fast. smh

The more I tank. I know the best thing is to probably move onto a dps or healing job but I love tanking.

I wish people would just consider what they're doing before they do it. Tanking isn't stressful, it's the people you party with that make it stressful.

What happened? I've been doing experts most days and did Alex less than perfect and had no issue - and I forgot shield oath a few times in roulette.

Im one of the dps (ninja especially) who takes a 2nd trashmobs aggro and kills him, while the other dps kills the first trashmob. Usually the heal is able to heal both the tank and me.

And as heal (whitemage) i often run away to loot chests. But only if i know that the tank can handle the 5 seconds or more not getting heals other than hots.

Good grief, I can't stand it when DPS pull extra mobs! The tank knows what he/she can handle. They don't need extra "help."

Bottom line: It's a game. You just gotta learn not to care so much about other people's opinions.

As long as you are doing your best and are open to constructive criticism when you make a mistake, you are fine and don't need to justify yourself beyond that.

In certain level brackets, and especially if you're sync-capped on gear, he outperforms most of the tanks I get saddled with in survivability and enmity generation. I've managed to dissolve quite a few parties who were simply outraged that it worked, even on bosses.

If the group survives the extra pull than this can't have really been true. Sounds like the poster was just talking about ripping hate, though.
