What concrete evidence do we have right now that SE's netting a loss directly because of the release schedule of Savage? This is highly presumptuous.

If there is a decline in activity in the game, (again, we need hard evidence before making claims) there are multiple factors that can contribute to it. I would speculate that is has more to do with the long turn-around time on the development cycle this time than the release schedule of Savage.

People are just bored and are looking for reasons to complain about things at this point.
