Leveling fisherman 50-51

I've tried asking around for info about this.. but.. I can't seem to find an answer that isn't too vague. All of the leveling guides I've read aren't much help either. Just where did you go to level your fisher from 50 to 51? Which bait and area did you go?

I just turned in the GC items, which were often from cloud fishing in CCH. Gives decent enough exp to get to 51 quickly.

I went to Coerthas Western Highlands and started fishing up Icepick as collectables. Easily got from 50 -> 54 in about an hour.

Hi, I think you need to be level 51 for that.

I went to Mor Dhona, fished and did some leves until 51.

Here you have all the fisher leves and fish needed. If you click on a fish, you see where it can be fished and the bait needed and maybe some restrictions.

I think you might have to be level 51 to turn them in, but I started fishing at level 50 at 28,17 in Coerthas Western Highlands, and fished til level 52, turned in the collectables I got while fishing there and that brought me to 54.
I don't believe there is any explicit level requirement on any fishing hole or any fish, that's why it's hard to say "you must be this _____ tall to fish". I remember "accidentally" fishing up the 1-star level 50 fish while fishing the desert catfish for a level 35? 30? quest, while being in the 30s at the time. As far as fishing goes, I'm pretty sure the only level requirements are on the bait, and the rest is just a gathering target to get an acceptable catch rate (certain fish have minimums before they say you can catch it, but those are few and far between).

The guide may well be mistaken and other baits may be used, but I decided to fish the icepick collectable at level 50 following the advice and bought the bait: Stonefly Nymph. I couldn't use the bait because it is level 51. When I reached level 51 I fished some icepick collectables there.

Edit: looking again at the guide, at another location, South Banepool (level 53), a different level 50 bait can also be used: Caddisfly Larva. The level 52 place, Frozen Pond, says only Stonefly Nymph, level 51 bait. So it seems at level 50 you can actually fish the icepick collectable at that other place, South Banepool.

Anywhere is fine. I was fishing at Urth's Gift near Quarrymill. Not the fastest but I think I managed to sell some of those catches.

Check back periodically to make sure you haven't run out of bait.
I think I fished the lvl 45-50 areas.

I think you can fish at Coerthas Western Highlands, Greytail Falls using lvl 50 sky fishing bait.

I userd coerthas western, West Banepool, since it was the 1st fishing hole i found there while i was doing those aether nodes hunting for fly, i used lvl 50 bait, i think was the Caddisfly Larva
