Why am I not allowed to participate in any community event?

Every time I see a community event, I get excited and want to participate, then I read and always see "all players in North America (excluding Quebec)"

Why are you excluding us?

Sure, the native language of most of us is French, but we can also speak English, and since the game is out in France and you have French forums, so it mustn't me a language problem...?


Will i ever be able to participate in any community event? Am I not part of the community?

this is not squares fault rather the government of quebecs fault, look at 99% of contests for anything out there and it'll exclude quebec.
the Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux has a strict list of rules that must be abided before allowing a resident of quebec to partake in a contest and the company making the contest must send a hefty stack of paperwork and information to regie so it can be looked over, not to mention numerous fee's the company must pay to the regie in the form of a tax or security deposit

with all the red tape and fee's the regie imposes most just avoid it completely
