What will i need to rebuy to play on PS4?

I have F14 and HW for PC.

i recently got a PS4 being able to play in the living room would be cool, but i need to know, i get i will need to get a FF14 PS4 disk and key for my account,

BUT will i also need to get the expansion for the game too? or will i be covered because i already own it on PC?

i tried googling it, but got no definite answers.

you need the base game and expansion. I suggest buying the bundle.
you'll need the same region as the one on PC.
and you'll need a PSN account for that region.

No, PS+ isn't required to play FFXIV.

Just chiming in to confirm what hagare and BristolRuss already said. To access Heavensward, you must have A Realm Reborn on the same console that you're trying to access Heavensward on. And no, you do not need PS+ to play FFXIV. On PS4 myself.

You don't need to get the disk. Just get the digital versions.

You need to buy the licenses for the base game and the expansions for each type of device you wish to play on.

Fun fact: If you own a Heavensward license for the PC, but only ARR on the PS4, then you will only be able to access those HW areas on your PC version. However, if your character is above level 50 and you only have ARR on your PS4, you can still log into said character so long as they are not in any of the HW areas.

You do not need ps+ too play ffxiv.

Yes you will have to get the expansion for ps4 also.

It goes like this.

(PC) Normal - Expansion
(PS3) Normal - Expansion
(PS4) Normal - Expansion

If you change from PC to PS4

You still need expansion because PC expansion is for PC not playstation 4.

I tried to log into my cousin's PC from my PS4 and because I don't have the PC expansion even though I have it on my PS4 I couldn't log into my account.

....but you can easily hook a PC up to a TV and play without having to buy a PS4 and the game again.

Why does everyone think a PC has to be played at a desk on a monitor?

I play on my TV sometimes and all it cost me was like $30 and that was optional lol
