Since we all know that scholar abilities pretty much past 52 are pretty situational. These are the scholar abilities we should have got.
60: Dissipation
Restores 20% of maximum MP.
Takes 20% of the caster's life.
Cooldown: 30s

No thanks. Other than Dissipation, I love SCH's new abilities.
I use Broil, Deployment Tactics, and Emergency Tactics fairly often.
Broil is a straight up superior nuke.
ET and DT are raiding tools. DT is good anytime a cure 3 is good, except proactive. Also good for doubling up E4E to the off-tank. ET is good any time a shield is not useful: such as when the shield would wear off before being hit again, or shields are already up. For example, succor, then ET+succor, for substantially better group healing.
I'd argue that the only useless skill of that bunch is Dissipation. I have to invent a fairly contrived situation where it works out to my benefit overall.

None of the abilities SCH has are useless, in fact from HW content only dissipation would need a slight tweak.. I would say, if it restored 20% mp along with aetherflow stacks, it would at least approximately negate the mana cost of a new fairy that you need to resummon. Or the best would be to make fairy "reappear" after dissipation is finished. Either way SCH is totally fine as it is.
Worst suggestions ever. Broil is amazing. Deployment Tactics? Cast it on a WAR with their stance up and get a 6k crit Adlo, follow up with a Deployment Tactics and you just gave your raid a 12k Galvanize. Emergency Tactics turns your next Adlo into a 5-10k Physick (if it crits it doubles the potency of the heal instead of 1.5 like normal crits). Dissapation is kinda eh...but it's good for burning down the last 10% of a fight
Is this thread serious? Like really....is it serious? The most powerful class in the game gets more powerful in the expansion and we get "fixes" like this. Broil, Emergency tactics and deployment tactics are serious powerful as is. Dissipation is highly niche but when you need to use it dear lord is it powerful.
I have been having fun this evening deploying crit adlos in Alexander savage. Been nuking things in clerics with Broil. Using that sweet sweet emergency succor to out out some nice aoe healing.
Take my Broil away and I'll cry.
Also while I haven't had a need for Dissipation I use ET quite a bit.
And there's no reason NOT to use Deploy when you pop E4E.. (not counting raiding when you may need it? IDK I don't raid so much). I use it constantly.
