Started as a Marauder.
I main a Warrior to this day.
I like big axes, I cannot lie.

Started as SMN all the way through ARR, then switched to AST and I'm not looking back (until Blue Mage)

I started as an Archer in the 2.0 launch on PS4 and still main Bard today. I'm a also a SCH and learning DRK, but Archer/Bard was my first and forever love (even after the 3.0 changes).
Fancy Man of Gridania
Started as Monk in 2.0 Pre-Release. Never truly switched, only dabbled in PLD.
Playing Dark Knight now. I still love the Monk for those late-night fun dungeon runs.

Started as a Pugilist. Ended up as a Ninja.
Started as a Gladiator in Early Access and technically mained Paladin through all three tiers of Coil, though I used Warrior for pretty much anything that wasn't raids. Paladin was my first 60 in Heavensward, but I'm currently gearing up my Dark Knight for the later floors of Alex Savage and it will most likely become my new main.

I am slow at leveling so currently just BLM, started as THM.
In the end I'll probably be a NIN, maybe a SMN.

1.0 - For versatility I played Drg, Mnk, and Blm, though during original 1.0 when cross class skills could be used on any class, I mained Thm because of my love for Blm that I acquired from 3 and a half years of FFXI (where I mained Blm and Sam), as well as because I absolutely loved enfeebling mobs.
2.0 - I started out as Acn, then chose Smn main because I wanted to play completely different jobs than what I previously played during 1.0, or FFXI. I eventually decided I wanted to switch things up a bit and played around with Brd as a secondary main (never played Rng during my time in Vana'diel and only leveled Arc to 50 during 1.0 because of lack of content and it was uber easy to level to 50), and then Blm because I've always loved Blm. I also decided to try out tanking (never tanked previously as I felt it just wasn't for me) and I found War to be very enjoyable, and I found Pld fun as well. Though, of the two, I prefer War. A large part of my motivation to play tank classes was that I always thought that tank gear looked bad ass.
3.0 - Drk. Drk looked very interesting to me, and I never played Drk during my time with FFXI. Also, this was to continue the trend of playing jobs that I never really played previously and focusing on different aspects of gameplay that I had never really focused on. I was so interested in Drk that when I got to Ishgard I completely ignored the MSQ and the first thing I did was unlock Drk and started leveling it. Didn't get back to working on MSQ until I had Drk at 50, and I've had a blast with it. Can't wait to hit 60. Just 1 level to go! (My play time is limited, thus the reason why I've yet to hit 60 even though I've been playing since EA) After I get Drk to 60, when I'm not working on gearing Drk, my plan is to take Brd to 60, and after Brd, Smn. However, after hearing so many good things about Mch, I may toy around with Mch to see if it's for me, and, if I find it to be a lot of fun, my plans may change.

1.0 - I played around with the thought of creating a Dark Knight, utilizing Gld, Mrd, and Thm. Needless to say I saw this not working well and eventually quit because the game was very unstable, buggy and laggy on the serverside. Was very disappointed with the game that first week.
2.0 - Arcanist > Summoner. Ended up leveling all the other jobs to 50 as well but Summoner was still my main.
3.0 Summoner is still my main and I love it. Dark Knight is my new go-to tanking job and I will eventually level up White Mage to 60 as my go-to healer. Then.. maybe Dragoon for funsies.
