prices for coke, potash, peacock ore, etc

So it just hit me, while buying my millionth coke from the GC today... It costs 1800 GC seals to make a darksteel ingot, 1500 GC seals to make a wolfram ingot, and 2,250 to make a wootz ingot.

Shouldn't coke be dropped down to 100 GC seals? That way it would be 900, 1500, 2250 in rising costs.

Maybe I'm just going crazy from slamming the confirm button 200 times in a row while buying stacks of coke for airships.

Eh. It gives you something to sink all those GC seals into. Even when I buy a ton of ventures, I've still never dropped below 30k, so I'm guessing that something like this is a good way to keep from risking capping out......

If you were on my server, now would be the time that I ask you for some coke.

What has Final Fantasy done to me...?

Given that the majority reason why people buy those mats is for the FC workshop, it really isn't as bad of a thing as the numbers might show. An overwhelming majority of FCs have multiple people working on projects. Contributions between a number of players is, in theory, going to reduce the requirement of seals between each other. Obtaining more seals has honestly never been easier than it is now.

If anything, the only change needed pertaining to those mats is your implied burden of having to buy them one by one. There should be an option to buy multiples. The system is already in place (buying things that cost gil, for example), but they choose to keep these types of transactions separate for one reason or another. It's also along the lines of the burden it is to make the old lv50 1-star mats. Why don't we have a quick synth option yet? That's something people have been asking for since 2.X.

Yep, those are the two big things. The price of mats is an irritant to me, since it goes 1800, 1500, 2250, but I really only thought about it while spamming the "do you really want to buy 1 coke?" confirmation for the ten thousandth time. Using these items in FC crafting is fine, but making us spam one button a hundred times, both for purchasing mats and synthing them, is maddening.

2.0 mats were just so annoying. I'm glad they transitioned from 9 mats to 1 more expensive mat for crafting, but FC airships brought us right back into the madness of needing 9 everything. 9 coke, for 9 ingots, 9 9 9 9 9. Buy it in nines, craft it in nines. And then that one guy sells 8 of them on the market board.

I think this would be more of a priority than the price, buying 1 by 1 without macro scripts is.... tedious.

LOL talk to most FC leaders or head crafters and they will tell you they usually get these items themselves or with help from maybe 1 person and the rare rare contribution from other members. An overwhelming majority of FCs that actually have ppl who help with workshops have those workshops funded by 1-3 ppl in the FC and the only thing other ppl do is come by for 5 minutes to stand there while items are pumped in and projects taken out.
