I understand the mobility concerns, but it honestly is never an issue.

It is an issue because for some, its not about wether it is a concern or the content demanded 100 percent mobility.
No it doesn't. For much content, the "strategy" as a brd is to simply pile up with all melees and stand there 80 percent of the time, just moving out and back in for 1 or 2 enemy casts.
The thing is, i LIKED the freedom. I didnt NEED it.
I personally played BRD for 100 days of playtime because it offered freedom in every aspect. On top of movement, i liked how he didn't ask for those 1-2-3s. Or have cast times. He offered FREEDOM to play spontaneously.yes there have been "perfect" rotations, openers etc. But you know, the "bad" bards didn't necessarily follow them, right? And you COULD go different routes. At the expense of a little dps but not completely butchering yourself down to a point where all other players felt they needed to kick or offend you
