Glory in your farther path.
Your welcome.
I read this as Angry Birds not gonna lie. The new red color of the AF2 gear doesn't help.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
I started as a bard back in November, hit 50, did endgame stuff, job never quite sat right with me. Tried a little bit of everything, thought I was going to end up maining Monk until I fell in love with Warrior and never looked back.
Play the field. Check out other jobs. You may surprise yourself.
I'm not very angry at this point. Just disappointed. Maybe Red Mage will be a class that isn't quite a melee and not a caster either and has some kind of support. Dps hybrids are fun! I also wouldn't mind another pet class.
I just want to say that your character is beautiful.![]()

That's how I landed on Bard. Back in ARR I leveled everything to 50, and although I liked and found fun most of the classes, I fell in love with Bard.I started as a bard back in November, hit 50, did endgame stuff, job never quite sat right with me. On the surface Bard was an easy and boring class, I'll admit. After I got quelling I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it. It was one of the last classes I got to 50. However, once I got it to 50 and dug into it a little deeper I found it had a decently high skill ceiling that didn't diminish over time. For me, most classes got boring once they were cemented to muscle memory. New fights would mix things up a little, but when learned they would fall back to muscle memory with very little focus needed to play well. With Bard, I was constantly engaged. I had constant focus on the GCD to hit that Straight Shot ASAP if it proced while watching the tiny little auto attack numbers to time barrage just right. Doing all of that while handling the mechanics, rotation, and support duties kept me on Bard longer than any other class.
I feel 3.0 Bard plays like a mix between ARR DRG and ARR SMN. Both fun classes, don't get me wrong. 3.0 Bard is fun as well, but without the parts of the class that kept me engaged for so long it's becoming less fun the more I play it. There's no thought needed to move in WM anymore, which was the main thing added to the class. There's not a whole lot of focus needed in 3.0 Bard once the class is essentially learned.
For me, the parts of the class that made me love it were taken away. I can't help but mourn for what I feel I've lost.
While I'm sad about the loss of mobility that WM takes away, I'm still enjoying the class, even if it still feels a bit clunky sometimes. I've learned to live and adapt to the new style. Every class is going to have changes people don't like. It could be possible that WM could be changed to make it feel less clunky but WM is here to stay sadly unless they can figure a way to replace it with something else.
yes I'm an ANGRY bard and Bard needs to be changed. Just how Summoners were dissatisfied - BARDs are now the SMN 3.0. SE made drastic changes to SMN. BRD needs to be looked at. Clearly WM is a band-aid not a fix or real mechanic for the bard. So yes OP I agree with you.
We know PLD will get changes in 3.1 - BRd needs to be added to the list.
