I don't think i'm the only BRD out here that has to play the job because of their static needs it. Yes, I could find another group, but I enjoy playing with the ones i'm with at the moment. Sure we all got used to this new playstyle that feels like we are driving a huge pile of shit without a steeringwheel, but that doesn't mean we enjoy it. I git gud and still hate bard. The end.

I bet if all of the bards would just leave and if there really were that many that SE is concerned about the amount of subs they lost, they'd change how bard works. Meaningful threats never gets anything changed "IM SO MAD I QUIT" *continues playing for the next half month or more*

Most bards have left. It doesn't mean they quit the game, but does mean they quit the class. They are getting hate for their class, being kicked from parties, and generally being looked down on. The people who defend it are few and far in between.

I personally heal now, after saying I wouldn't use WM anymore. And I when I do dungeon runs I see one bard every.... 15-20 runs , maybe less.

The bards are quiting, but SE gets money still so they don't care. I can't wait for the next tally of who does what class, although I'm sure they'll lie on it.

Problem is, bards are the ones hating on the class; it's not coming from the other classes. Other classes really don't care. We aren't invested in the topic. And they're only getting kicked if they refuse to acknowledge that hw happened.

You can add former BRDs to the list. Both MCH and BRDs fill the same niche in party compostion, I was going to level both jobs anyway, but I jumped ship entirely when WM was a damage loss until level 60, and I didn't bother leveling it until sometime after alexander came out.

Just go and take a look at few LFG threads posted by bards. Statics out there circling those bards like sharks lol

I see smns and blms mainly as far dps go in pvp.
I hear absolutely non-brd players say on ls "man all these filthy mechs in my alex savage mercs, we need brds lol".
I see a bunch of pfs lookin for progression bards, like it was hip shit
(or suddenly lacked for some strange reason. This reason cannot be that many ppl played bard, it received MAJOR gameSTYLE changes, and many of those many brds abandoned them so there aren't all that many left)

I don't think anyone has been kicked out for just being a BRD. Only time I have heard of this is people refusing to use WM or their DPS is no good.

im afraid there's a huge issue with your expectation: i had bard 50, hw came out, i wanted to dive right in. So i sticked brd. He is 60 now. The same will count for most of the other bards.
SE wont make up these numbers,no need . "the bards are there" and not in little numbers i might add.
They are just dormant, abandoned, little creatures that receive less love from their owners then before.

Numbers wont show this much... Not that diagram. A number like currently 5 PFs include "static lf brd for a3s p4 progression" is another thing. And wether that is because
a) all brd mainers are idiots by nature
b) brd is still to weak (yes SE the correct course of action to take is WM 30->40 problem solved /sarcasm)
c) ppl dont like the whole deal anymore
