Well its sad that you guys experienced that, because I played Ragnarok as well, and not on a private server, since they are illegal. (they were at the time, not sure now)

So I didn't encounter anything in which the admins could insert there to their whims.

Oh they're probably still illegal but honestly the leveling curve in RO is just so...slow...ugh anyway

I still don't know. "Wings" aren't really a FF thing (unless you are evil or a bird person, seems like)... I'm okay with ornamental wings (those silly things the SMN AF2 have for instance) or mounts. Our characters don't need the innate ability to fly.

Oh, I have played on official servers for years. But sometimes I would play private servers, back then there were good 'low rate' servers, with no wings, etc...

The thing is, I think that wings are not pleasant when everyone is wearing them. Imagine Idyllshire on weekend. Now imagine everyone wearing wings, big, small wings, colorful, dark and glitter-ish wings, etc... well, IMO that would not look cool, would look like a big carnival 24/7.

The only way i see this happening if there was a specific race with flight worthy wings. And they would only work as a means of movement, no combat, no instant flight mode, only in HW areas etc.

I don't get why people hate wings. XD I mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but wings are just always awesome to me. I can't not like wings! lol I am all for this! Gimme some nice spectral dragon wings with jet packs on the back that also shoot lasers please. XDDD
