Sounds like a good idea to me too. Maybe have difficulty settings with scaling rewards upon completion instead of random difficulties.

They could limit usage with tieing it to leve allowance which would give a use for them at max level.

I still want single player battles in the golden saucer that people can spectate you doing and award MGP. The coliseum was my favorite thing in FF7's golden saucer.

Well, technically the Gold Saucer is in Thanalan and near Ul'Dah, so couldn't the coliseum in Ul'Dah fit the bill for that?
