Regional CD Key Issues

I purchased from Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn - Heavensward MMOGA.de and they sent me a Euro region Key vs a US region Key. they are not issuing me a refund and i am now stuck with this CD key. I have contacted Square 4 times now on trying to have them take the valid key and swap it for a valid US key.

I understand this would take a little work, but I have faith that Square is interested in lifelong customer retention (I have been buying square products for 22 years). I'm sure this type of consumer is very valuable to the company and I know this will be worked out any day now.

I am posting to warn other consumers like me to beware the company MMOGA.de. Also I want to ask Square Enix directly to step in and assist since MMOGA.de are not a licensed re-seller according to "agent Jon".

I don't mean to sound rude, which I probably will..., but .de = Germany, which is in Europe, hence they gave you an EU key. So that company hasn't really done anything wrong, they supplied a key for their region.

Unfortunately SE never swap keys for different regions or even change peoples regions even if they move country. So I'm afraid all I can really suggest is try reselling the key yourself and/or trading with someone else that has the region you need and they need yours. Of course there are risks involved with doing that, but that's up to you to decide if you want to try.
