petition to make leveling optional (ex. auto-50)

yes... this is a stupid idea. that was the point.
right now you can essentially get powerleveled to 50 in a day.
that is a problem
I was hoping i would get a bunch of ppl to rage against the idea, devs would notice, and they'd patch the game (since they seem to completely ignore the powerleveling threads)

No I'm more than certain you thought it was an awesome idea until everyone raged on you. Don't act like it was all part of Your big convoluted Scheme to get the Devs to take PL out of the game just makes you look /facepalm

The Idea had died in your last forum page and ppl didnt like it. if you were against the idea you would have left it there and not made a new thread about it. Since it died off the devs wouldnt have seen it anyway. Which would give you no reason to bring it up unless you supported it fully.

Why would someone who has spent a long ammount of time compiling guides on how to level support skipping the entire game? The sheer audacity of anyone wanting it at all is silly enough...but come on really?

Im all for grinding. on ffxi (back in the day) it took months - year to get your first 75 between work - school and other RL activites
