This idiocy is an example of why you shouldn't take the forums seriously. The game has gotten better since 1.19, but half the forums are bitching. And in the end of the day, mmo forum goers are often a whiney, spoiled, malcontented lot. If SE gave you all lifetime subs for free, you'd cry you couldn't bequeath it to your damned children.

idea is retarded, not enough stuff at endgame to keep people playing til new content comes, others earned their stripes, you should damned well have to, as well, skipping to the end defeats the very object and is a direct insult to the FF brand (as if launch wasn't enough already).

I'm suggesting it because in other posts where i criticize the game for making leveling too repetitive and too easy lots of people said that leveling isn't the good part of this game and there is no reason to make it a chore.

The FFXIV community seems to want choice so I thought I'd put forward an argument for it.

I realize you are stuck in the old mindset of playing the game to achieve things but that isn't what people on these boards want. They want to be able to port instantly anywhere, auto-level to 50, and pick whatever gear they want. Because that will let them have fun.

I can't believe this tread exists. OP you are out of your mine, Why don't we give an option to everyone to auto win the ifrit battle and every other content. Why do you play this game again? Maybe you should to check out www.treehousetv.com Maybe that's your type of game, pure content and my 1 year old can do it. that's what you want apparently.

This is a joke thread, surely? Option to start at level cap!!!! Why not just do away with lvls altogehter. Or better still, why not have an option where you simply watch your character win the game.

Better still, why not have the choice to turn all the mobs into cute lil teddy bears. Ifrit, the horrific stuffed panda! It will take a light kick to knock it down and TATA, you win!
