I just want to know why people like the OP continue to play and post when the direction the game is heading in obviously tortures them so much inside...

Its like they feel they have to play the game just because its a Final Fantasy.

I will use myself as an example. I like to play MMOs, I also like Final Fantasy. I saw this game and I thought "cool! The best of both worlds.". The game launched and I hated it, so I didn't play. Now that I see the direction it is headed, and there is some fun stuff to do, I am playing it again. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't sit here and subject myself to torture just because it was a FF or a MMO. I would play something else. Plain and simple. Is that weird?
