    Fix to TT

    So they've been saying they want to fix TT make it more accessible. The solution they stated was to "Make NPC's easier to beat."

    Well that would be swell if that were the issue. True some NPC's are stupidly hard to beat with broken mechanics (Yellow moon having ONLY high level cards except Glaidecat, Random, Order, Ascension/Descension) but I have beaten YM over a hundred times trying to get a TWO star card from her...

    The results? My ENTIRE Free Company doesn't have Yugiri's card. It's a TWO star card! Raise Card Drop rates, it's as simple as that really.

    Lower difficulty should be lower drop rates.

    Rather simple when you consider it that way.

    i can get behind that set up. some really are fusterating to even play with going 9 matches straight either losing or tie and only 1-2 wins before going back to the 10+ tie/lose again matches.

    I can agree with that too, it would be a great system as long as they gauge their NPC difficulties properly. Either way I don't think dumbing down the game is a great solution in of itself, but yours is more than fair.

    I don't know. Maybe my view is slightly biased, as I managed to get all the npc drops. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't impossible either.

    Whilst I do agree it seems a bit odd that a 2-star card be as hard (or harder) to get than a 3-star card, outside of the random rule you are very unlikely to use the Yugiri card... the ONLY reason to get the card is the for the challenge of actually getting it, it's not like it's particularly good, or needed. The only people that want it are completionists, like myself, and if they are too readily available it takes away the fun of actually trying to get the full set. Just my opinion. I still have a few cards left to go, the only one of which being a challenge is the 1m MGP one. the others are plat pack drops, which seem to elude me, but they are just random drops rather than something I can really affect

    I'm only missing 3 cards so I may be a bit biased. The frutration I see with the new npcs is the random rule and their small card pool, if their card pool was doubled it would be a bit more bareable.

    Payouts seemed in line with 3* 2.55 cards across the board, sure there were a few that would take a hundred wins to get. Most of the npc cards were gotten under 50 wins though. Your win rate is going to be much lower on average when you cant pick your cards so that adds to play count also.

    Most of the random npcs are beatable by flip baiting also due to the content and design of their decks. I do not off hand remember all the strats but for instance tataru with arguably the hardest deck to beat in 3.0 can be beaten 40% with a 1-2* deck playing a zigzag bottom left to top right.

    Bismark has been the biggest stumbling block in my experience.

    Increase TT card drops through out the board.

    Increase the MGP you can earn for trading in doubles -- thus giving people a chance to get a little more scratch to spend on card packs (if that's what they prefer instead of playing/farming NCPs.

    OR allow people to trade double cards. Only today I was running WoD with my fc and my friend who happens to tank mainly won the card on 2 occasions. TWO.

    Maybe make the "timed" NPC's a little more notable? Not everyone is going to run around with a off game app/site that has Eorzea times on it.

    That's just some of the things I can think of that would help with TT.

    Yeah Yellow moon etc having such a tiny pool of cards that are absolutely bonanzas and tataru etc... Its silly.

    Low drop rates in general are a terrible idea. It turns something fun into frustration.

    I'm find with having hard difficulty as long as isn't artificial 'random' difficulty.
