Post 50, Pre 60 crafting rotations

I recently started crafting again. I was just wondering what type of crafting rotations people are using early on for some of the 40 and 80 durability stuff. All my crafting classes are level 51-54. Any help on rotations would be super helpful.
    Thanks in advanced!

I used my 2 and 3 star rotations for pretty much everything until level 60. Generally involved hasty touch to 7-8 stacks, then great strides -> byregots; using either standard synthesis if I had the CP or careful synthesis II. Just make sure you aren't crafting any recipes that have a higher level than you, and this should work for the most part. As you get into 55+ you'll have to either upgrade your gear or start going to 9/10 stacks.

On the topic of gear, make sure you have decent enough stats to do those rotations. I would also recommend upgrading to holy ramie crafting gear (HQ'd by yourself of course) if you do decide to upgrade (holy rainbow is about equivalent to artisans gear if you had that; you can make it though if you didn't have artisans). Also the holy chestnut accessories as you meet level requirements for them, with some basic melds, will last you into 2-star crafts at 60 (when you start replacing them). With some basic melds (1-2 melds per piece) the holy ramie stuff is as good as meldless HQ'd serpentskin/chimerical crafting gear, and better than blue scrip gear.

There are few things I dislike when 'leveling' crafting in HW. First being pre-precise touch crafting of post-HW creations, I think precise touch should be unlocked at 50 to be honest. Second being I think collectibles need tweaking at the 50-54 range to be slightly more rewarding. Third would be having more leve allowance to compensate for the increased amount of classes added that use them since it was introduced as a gameplay mechanic on top of the increased level cap of which all have a impact on their usage.

Lastly I dislike crafting the recipes which have such requirements as things like 35 durability...applies to any recipe which has both a very low durability and also that durability being of 5 increments as opposed to 10. Rotation wise at early levels tricks of the trade is very good and so is precise touch. I always try to start off with comfort zone and then inner quiet too, if my stats are good enough I also then throw in a steady hand before beginning the main rotation of hasty touch and so on etc.

The requirements of post-HW creations are harder than ARR requirements so being geared is far more important in keeping up to date if planning on making HQ items. There are other things I do which might help but one of best ways is when leveling between 50-54 and I want to level quick through leves using HQ items...I simply ask a friend or someone I trust who is better geared and higher level to make them for me provided I supply all the materials they tend to do it for free.

If they are not online though I will craft them myself or buy from MB, after 54 though life becomes much easier thanks to not only unlocking of some better and more useful skills but also collectibles becoming more worthwhile. You can easily level from 50-60 with mostly non-HQ hand-ins if have full 100 leve allowance saved up which is something I sometimes do too and that alleviates some of the stress of trying to make HQ.

My crafting is in a similar situation to your own. All 53 with 54 Gsm, 56 Weaver.

I'm still technically locked out of heavensward because I haven't gotten through the 2.1 to 2.9 content so I need to make every exper opportunity count. As such I make a lot of parts and only use them when it's a GC turn in that will get me more exper.
40 dura: Comfort Zone, inner quiet, Steady Hand II, Waste Not, Hasty, Hasty, Hasty, Hasty. SH II or another Hasty with no Steady Hand II in play, depending on if I need 1 or 2 CH II. Manipulation, Steady Hand II, Waste Not, Hasty, Hasty, Hasty, Hasty, Steady Hand II, Great Strides, Byregot's Blessing, Careful Synthesis II. This depends on CP food or 2 procs from tricks of the trade to get a Great Strides in for Byregot's Blessing.

The same process can be used on 80 Dura but you will need to determine how many Careful Synth II you need to complete and throw in some Hasty after the Byregot's Blessing because you still have some Steady Hand left. It doesn't insure HQ, It insures maximum exper per crystal and mat. My current priority.

I have recently updated my crafting guide, which may be of help to you.
    http://ffxivrealm.com/guides/ff14-ad...e-tsukino.156/
In "Ch33: Tips for lvl 50 Crafters Who Do Not Have Best-In-Slot Gear from ARR" I have included details on how to transition from an undergeared ARR lvl 50 to a well-geared HW leveling crafter.
In "Ch32E: Leveling by Actual Crafting", I have included some old ARR rotations for 40 durab & 80 durab items.
In "Ch46: How to effectively craft 35 durab items in Heavensward?", I have included some new HW rotations for 35 durab items.
    Hope they help!

Excellent! I used your guide in 2.x so to see it updated for 3.x really made my night! I can start crafting again with confidence because of the addition of Ch33!
