    It's just how many players that are "recommended" to fight the monsters from the coffer, just like any other standard treasure map in game.

    I believe the number is for the number of players recommended for a specific treasure map.

    I think most of the time the number is just for completion's sake to give that authentic feel. Most of the maps are just places with nice views.

    Greetings my good community reps! I submitted an entry for the Seekers competition, and requested a Scarf of Wondrous Wit as the prize. Alas, afterward I received one from voting on the Hairstyle contest! Woe is me!!     I understand there might've been some confusion with it technically being October 9th in Japan or something but I was really looking forward to making an entry (and procrastinating cuz I'm awful) so I'm disappointed to see the thread closed :<
