Oh, dear! I was just about to submit my entry for the Cartographers category! However, the main contest thread definitely does state:

The “Contest period” begins on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific time) and ends on October 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific time) (the "Deadline").

I hope that this is just an error! If it is and the thread is reopened, if a community rep could kindly delete this post, I'd appreciate it! <3

But, just in case... I'm going to join Syggfryd and post my entry here.

That feel when the FFXIV forum mods delete your entry in the Cartographer's contest and don't tell you ... and then the entry deadline passes. :C

I even asked if the location was fine as a followup in this discussion thread and never got a mod reply.

And I had a backup entry ready just in case.

;____; It's too late, but I thought I'd ask again: earlier in this thread, I saw that dungeons were allowed - are PVP areas not?

Right Click the number of your post in the browser and select copy link from the drop down menu.
For instance, your post that I quoted was #59 in this thread. You should be able to see the number in the type right corner of the frame of your post.
